Highlights

In the early evening, leave your Dubai hotel in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle. Your expert safari guide will highlight Dubai’s landmarks and share extensive knowledge about the desert, its history, and significance as you head to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. After about 45 minutes, you’ll arrive at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a unique area funded by visitors to preserve the Arabian Desert’s natural beauty and biodiversity.

Following a smooth drive through the desert, you’ll pause atop a sand dune to watch the sunset over the dunes, offering a perfect photo opportunity. Next, a short drive will take you to our Bedouin-style camp, where desert activities and a campfire await. Adventurous guests can try riding a camel, known as the ‘ship of the desert,’ and sand-boarding. Then, unwind on large carpets and cushions inside our tents and enjoy henna hand-painting. You’ll savor a three-course Arabic buffet with unlimited soft drinks while watching a belly dancing performance. Experience the desert’s tranquility as we turn off the camp lights for a few minutes to reveal the stunning night sky.

Your adventure concludes with a return drive to Dubai, arriving back at your hotel by 11pm.

Additional Information

Adults are guests aged 12 years and above, children are 5-11 years old and infants are below 5 years old
Our safari vehicles are long wheelbase off-road cars that are fitted with seat belts, roll cages and air-conditioning, and are licensed to carry up to 6 passengers, excluding the driver. By law, all passengers must wear seat belts while the vehicle is in motion
For the safety of our younger passengers in the off-road vehicles, special seating is required and must be requested and booked in advance
Child seat is required for 2 to 5-year-olds and/or 105cm – 125cm . For this age group, an exclusive vehicle must be booked. Please request a booster seat, if your child fits into this category. Please note that if this is not pre-booked, then we will not be able to operate the safari
Booster cushion is required for children above 5 years old and/or under 135cms. For this age group, a shared vehicle can be booked
Our safari guides are trained in first aid and carry first aid kits. Guides carry mobile phones and radios and vehicles are fitted with GPS
Seating is not pre-allocated. During safaris, seating for passengers in one vehicle will be rotated
We recommend that all passengers read our Safety Card which is available with the driver/guide in the vehicle before proceeding on our tours.
Our safaris are conducted only in English
Our safaris involve off-road driving through rugged country, which adds to the excitement of the tour. However, because of the adventurous nature and the rough terrain covered, you should not participate if your health or any pre-existing medical conditions (including heart ailments neck or back problems) may be adversely affected
Vegetarian options and kids meals are available. Please advise at the time of booking if required
Arabian Adventures supports the zero plastic initiative and single-use plastic is not used at our campsite. Instead glasses and water dispensers are available at the bar
Dress code: modest dress, comfortable and closed walking shoes are recommended
A portion of your fee supports conservation
During Ramadan, experience the tradition of Iftar (breaking of fast) at sunset with traditional dates, hibiscus drink, sparkling date juice and a favourite - Vimto juice - in a picturesque setting on a dune
Belly dancing is not available during Ramadan and will be replaced by a Tanoura dancer
To ensure seamless service, please contact us 24h before the visit date to confirm your pick-up location and time. If pick up location is not shared in time, we might not be able to provide the service and refunds or reschedules will not be accepted.
Should your excursion include transfers from and to your hotel, our Guide will meet you in the hotel’s main lobby. Please ensure you are in the lobby at least 15 minutes before your confirmed pick-up time and inform the hotel concierge that you are waiting for an Arabian Adventures Tour or Safari.
Our team on the ground will not be able to contact you if you are unavailable at the pick-up point at the designated date and time.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats available, however the seat requirement must be mentioned at the time of booking

Unforgettable…..a definite must do! - What a fabulous experience! We all loved every minute from our 10 year old to our 3 teens. Our guide Asad was amazing. He went above and beyond to make our trip so memorable. He pointed out local attractions on the way to the safari and made the drive to the desert a part of the experience. He had cold water for us to enjoy too. The off road dune dune was exhilarating and the kids said it was better than any rollercoaster! We then stopped for plenty of photo opportunities where Asad was brilliant at taking the photos. The drink watching the sunset was stunning. We then went to the camp which was magical. We rode a camel, went sand boarding and had a henna tattoo. Then ate the most delicious BBQ meal all washed down with unlimited soft drink! Highly recommend and a huge big thank you to Asad, you are brilliant!
