BEST layover tour of Dubai - My work friend and I made a fairly last-minute decision to put our 12+hour layover in Dubai to good use. The algorithm brought me to Withlocals and to Sandy, and I am so very happy it did!! Sandy met us upon arrival at DBX and we were whisked away to Old Dubai and pretty quickly found ourselves immersed in the old souks of Dubai. This tour was incredibly thoughtfully laid out and a perfect combination of history, food sampling, shopping opportunity, culture, and architecture. We had the most amazing experience and felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Now, we have had the whirlwind tour, we want to come back for a longer trip. Thank you so much Sandy for being a remarkable human! Please continue this fantastic tour!

Guided tour of Dubai hits all the highlights - We thoroughly enjoyed our one day tour of Dubai with Sandy as our guide and his skilled driver. They proudly showed us the Jems of the city while giving us the background and some depth of understanding. He was open to adjusting the itinerary, kept a close eye on our wandering troupe, and showed us some spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. The restaurant he selected for us for lunch was in a beautiful patio over the “creek” and served local food at reasonable prices. If you want to go inside the frame, Burj tower, water park, Museum of the future etc, get your tickets well ahead of time and go on your own as you wouldn’t need a guide and there still will be line ups. But to get around the city and see landmarks and great markets etc, these guides are amazing. Nice van too with AC.

SUperb Guide and Driver! - I cannot thank these guys enough! I came over with my elderly mother and I worked out an itinerary with them beforehand. Sandy and Ranju arrived promptly each day and couldn't have been more helpful. My Mum struggled to get into their car but by the time we had visited the Mosque (the first stop, on the first day), Ranju had got a step to help her get in and out. What service! Nothing was too much trouble. Ranju was the calmest and smoothest driver and what Sandy didn't know about Abu Dhabi wasn't worth knowing! I would not hesitate to recommend these guys and will certainly be contacting them if we travel to the UAE again.

Dubai in 4 hours - We had a wonderful city tour with our guide Khan. He picked the group of 4 ladies up on time and then took us on a guided tour of the key sights of Dubai. He was informative yet took the time to answer our questions patiently. We would highly recommend Khan for this tour. Thank you.

Awesome!!! - Sandy is well-versed & knows the place very well. He surely is an amazing tour guide, explaining to us every detail of the place we visited. The driver is very courteous and also knows the place, like a walking/driving map; no need to rely on google maps/waze apps. The experience we had with the 2 guide (Sandy & Driver) you provided is very well-appreciated, a job well-done.

Amazing Experience - Sandy and Jose lead my wife and I on an amazing late night tour of Dubai. They were extremely knowledgeable and flexible. Would highly recommend if you have a late night layover like we did. Great way to get a taste of Dubai!

Dubai (UAE) Four Hour Primer - My wife and I booked the tour the day before and had to make some last minute adjustments and yet Jose and Sandy accommodated us happily. The tour and cultural context were excellent and very enjoyable. We were able to see and experience all the major tourists spots within the four hour tour. This was perfect as a UAE primer and has made us more excited to come back again for a longer stay. We really liked these guys and would strongly recommend them.

Fantastic individual tour of Dubai at the night - We arrived in Dubai at night and in order not to wait for the next flight at the airport, we booked an individual Dubai excursion with Jose Gomez and Sandy Nat. We were met at the airport and were given a wonderful tour of Dubai in 4 hours, we also went on a fishing boat. Many thanks to Jose Gomez and Sandy Nat for a great experience. I definitely recommend this excursion to other travelers who have time between flights.

Take this Tour! - What an amazing experience touring with Sandy rather than sitting in the airport. We saw so much and learned a lot during our 4 hour tour. Sandy even helped us taste some local food and find a camel!! The car is comfortable and equipped with waters, and the two work as a team whisking you around the city expertly. I can not think of a better experience!! Thank you!!

Fantastic layover tour of Dubai - I didn't do a great job of planning ahead before a 9 hour layover in Dubai, but I had seen several reviews of Sandy & Jose previously, and thought I would try them out. So when it was 48 hours prior to arriving, I lept into high gear, and Sandy was very quick to respond AND was wonderfully helpful in giving me ideas on highlights for such a short tour during a layover. He let me choose a bunch of the sites and listened to my feedback about what my wife and I would be most interested in (and what we wouldn't be interested in). So we quickly narrowed down what we'd go see, and then when the time came (after I'd booked the visit) - he was very communicative the day of as we were flying over. Really easy to meet him, and he was very efficient at picking us up and getting us out of the airport to maximize our time on the ground. He knows GOBS about the history, the architecture, the people, cultures, religions, and all sorts of valuable and trivial information that really made our time there interesting. We had a great time at the Burj and the mall, a quick visit to the Frame and some wonderful and surprising moments on the Palm island. Lovely time at a local dinner after an Abra ride on the river (creek) and some excellent shopping at the different Souqs. Not too high pressure which I really appreciate! Overall a fantastic experience, and we look forward to going back again maybe few a few days next time, all because of Sandy!
