Great tour, great guide - We did the tour with Abdella. It was a wonderful experience. I wondered if we should do it because it was so hot but he was excellent at moving us from air conditioned area to shade and kept us comfortable. I learned so much about the area and it was truly great.

July evening tour - I got way more than I bargained for, in a GREAT way. I thought this was simply going to be someone walking us through souqs but it’s so much more than that! It was a unique CULTURALLY immersive experience where we learned about Dubai, the UAE, history and their beautiful culture. Our tour guide, Hichem was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He’s incredibly polite, very hospitable, funny and informative. When I return to Dubai, I will absolutely be doing this tour again and I hope I get paired with Hichem again.

Really informative and entertaining tour learning the history of Dubai - The tour was really fun and informative.Hichem did a really good job keeping up entertained while we made the various stops along the old town. The haggling in the souks was a bit of an annoyance but was part of the experience. We got good tips prior to that so we knew what to expect and how to bargain on items we wanted. All in all a great tour.

Fun local experience - Had an absolutely great time with Mahmoud. He was tremendously knowledgeable and gave us an understanding of both the Emirati culture as well as Dubai as a city. Although it was very hot, the walk was at a great pace and we had plenty of time to stop and get something to drink. Absolutely loved the boat ride and both the spice and gold markets. Had a local snack and sampled all different things in the spice market. I would definitely recommend using Mahmoud to lead you on an intimate tour of old Dubai

5 star old town tour - Hichem did a great job leading our tour. It was so hot, we almost didnt go. I'm so glad we made it. Hichems laughter positive energy and depth of knowledge made the tour well worth it. We learned a lot about the history of Dubai. Muslim culture, and enjoyed the experience.

I wouldn’t recommend - I did not enjoy this tour. The start time of the tour was changed from the times on the confirmation and no one informed me so I was left standing around in very hot weather , myself, for around an hour. As with a lot of visitors my phone did not have signal in this area and I was unable to connect to WiFi so couldn’t make contact with the guide. I found the time change and lack of communication very unprofessional and unlike any experience I’ve had in Dubai before. As for the tour it felt very rushed , I didn’t feel like I learned anything meaningful, the information was basic and superficial. I was looking forward to visiting the souks - but we were not given anywhere near enough time to buy anything . The time allowed only let me walk around the market quickly but no time to barter and buy anything which was disappointing. I personally didn’t enjoy the hot food, in the hot weather .. I was so uncomfortable by this point due to the waiting and then the rushing , there was no where to sit , we were just standing in the street - I just couldn’t eat. Overall I think this tour did not offer value for money , I didn’t enjoy the experience or the lack of empathy from the guide for the position he put me in. I wish I had used a different company for this tour.

Egyptian guide , fake old city ! Not recommended - The tour pace was too slow and it was all taking breaks around the old town ( rebuilt ). The guide didn’t seem to be very knowledgeable although he dresses like a local but he is Egyptian. The experience in the markets was overwhelming and that’s the worst part of the tour that we were left with no clear tips on how to haggle or the prices!!! The boat ride was amazing but lasted only like 3 minutes, the tour ended in the market and finding a taxi was really a challenge.
