Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood - The emirate of Dubai is known for being one of the most modern cities in the world. But it also has something to offer those wishing to see what the city looked like before it put itself on the map as a tourist hotspot.
Nestled along Dubai Creek, the historic Al Fahidi Neighborhood provides the visitors an opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle that was prevalent in Dubai from the mid-nineteenth century to the seventies of the twentieth century.
The tour begins with a visit to the historical district of Al Fahidi, known as Al Bastakia. We will have several stops where we will talk about the history, culture, traditions and the life style of the people of Old Dubai. - Bur Dubai Abra Station - We will board a small boat (known as Abra) to cross the famous creek of Dubai heading to the old markets (Spice & Gold)
- Coins Museum - Temporary Closed for renovation Right after the traditional house, we will pass by the wall of Old Dubai on our way to the coin museum, where you will see the ancient coins of Arabia and Dubai. followed by a top in front of a mosque and learn more about Islam.
- Textile Souk - A short walk through the aisles of the textile markets of Dubai heading to the Abra (Boat)
- Dubai Spice Souk - The Spice Souk is located in Deira, the commercial and cultural hub that is one of the oldest parts of Dubai. The souk is known for its narrow alleyways and shops filled with an endless array of spices from around the world.
The Spice Souk is a beautiful amalgamation of vibrant colours and aromas that attracts visitors in large numbers.
- Dubai Gold Souk - During your visit to Dubai, you cant miss the Deira Gold Souk in Dubai. Tiny little stores in narrow streets filled with mostly Arabic and Indian style gold jewelry feature traditional styles and unthinkable designs.

Lovely look at the old side of Dubai - Very knowledgable friendly guide.

Very worthwhile tour. Highly recommend - What incredible knowledge our tour guide had. She was friendly, showed us an incredible amount of things and places and was helpful right to the end. Absolutely worthwhile. We were extremely fortunate to have the guide just for the two of us but even if you were with others the groups are a max of 15 unlike some other groups we saw.

Really informative and great fun - Rehab was excellent! We ended up having a private tour with Rehab, our guide and her knowledge and insight was amazing. She gave us loads of information and even shared some of the local cuisine with us to really immerse us into all things Dubai. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip! Thank you so much Rehab. Felt like we were with a friend not a guide! 🤩

Phenomenal! - Mohamed provided a phenomenal tour. He was extremely knowledgeable of the culture and history of Dubai. I appreciate the small and intimate setting of the tour and that Mohamed allocated time for us to shop in the souk instead of just passing by.

Mo makes Dubai better - From greeting us at the airport to ensuring our timely return for departure, Mo was professional, warm, polite and engaging. A large part of the trip being successful was due to his knowledge of local history and culture, professional handling, and approachable manner. He taught us a few key phrases and provided guidance on how to bargain and navigate the souks. I would recommend Mo wholeheartedly to anyone traveling to Dubai.

Tour of old town Dubai - This tour was planned by the cruise we were on. It was hot, wear good walking shoes, sunscreen, wide brim hat. The tour included a boat ride across the river, walk around historic areas, souk and snack at river home. I find the spice and gold markets to be most interesting.

exploring gems of dubai - this was fantastic tour . mohamed was really knowledgeable and interesting . we learn a lot about arab culture and history and saw a whole side to dubai that we did not know existed. would be definitely recommend this tour.
