Amazing experience for families with teenagers - Amazing! The ATV ride is awesome! We felt very safe even with a smaller teenager. We used 2 double ATVs. I drove together with my small daughter and my wife drove with my oldest son (nether of than had never drove a bike or ATV before but both succeeded driving this one easily). The time we spent in the desert camp was awesome as well specially because we had the luck to have this AMAZING guide named Asim. He did everything to make our experience unforgettable. Thanks so much, Asim!

Great fun! - We had a brilliant time with Red Dunes safari and our driver was excellent. He picked us up from our hotel on time and was cleary a very skilled driver in the dunes! The 'dune bashing' was like being on a roller coaster - the kids particularly loved it and at no time did we feel unsafe despite being at some incredible driving angles along, up and down the dunes! We stopped for sunset pictures in the most beautiful location in the dunes. One thing to note is that you are not alone on this tour and we joined a convoy of around 15/20 vehicles but this was not an issue and did not in any way detract from the experience. The Bedouin camp was good, the camel rides were very short - just round in a circle - again not an issue and given the number of people it meant that we didn't have to queue. Dune boarding didn't really happen as you couldn't strap into the board so the kids used it as a sledge! The food was ok and the entertainment was very good.

Great experience - Superb activity. Very good local cuisine with spicy and delecious dishes. We booked the tickets on "getyourguide" and our travel agent was "Ocean air travel". Pick up point is usually the hotel you live in. The driver was experienced and polite. It's value for money, dont lose this activity in your dubai visit.

Glad we went... but - We enjoyed the dune bashing part of the safari, but other features of this afternoon/evening were disappointing. First, our driver came to pick us up at our hotel 20 minutes earlier than we had expected. We had to get everything together is a big rush and then he was very annoyed that we kept him waiting. We then went to pick up another group and headed to the desert only to sit around for 45 minutes. So... what was the attitude about upon pickup? Once you get to the desert area, there is little to do but sit and wait without many places to sit and the only distraction are several small local shops or pay to take out an ATV. Sand boarding was not offered. Once we got started in the SUVs, the actual drive in the dunes was thrilling and fun. Viewing sunset from the dunes was beautiful. After the drive, we were taken to the BBQ camp. Be prepared for lots of pressure to "upgrade" everything. For example, you must pay more to sit on a seat with a back and to sample any other flavor than the strawberry with the shisha pipe. If you want to try on the traditional costume, you have to pay extra to try on any garment other than the black robe and hood. The entertainment consisted of three shows, only one of which had anything to do with Bedouin culture from what I could tell. An explanation of the traditional culture would have been appreciated. The brief camel ride was fun and you could pay more for a little longer ride. Hardcore sell to purchase photographs taken when camel riding. Anyway, I think this event could be much improved if it focused more on the traditional culture, raised the price a little and provided more quality without hawking and pressure to buy more/better experience. It seemed much more about making money than providing a meaningful experience for participants.

Scam artists - I would give it no stars if possible. Scam artists, don’t go here. The dune driving is fun but don’t go to the place after here you get food and camel riding. Sick minded, twisted and evil people run the place. Scam artists from top to bottom. The actual experience doesn’t cost a lot but if you order drinks or shisha they don’t tell you the price, then charged us £2000 for a couple beers and a shisha. Yes £2000 not dhirums. Horrible place and people. Can’t recommend not going here enough.
