Would highly recommend Motiongate - Amazing time spent at Dreamworks. Dubai Parks and Resorts. Very hot, as was in August but a third of the park in indoors with air con. Think the place is very underestimated. Didn’t know what to expect and took a chance really. We were not disappointed. Our two 13 year olds absolutely loved it! We shopped around for a better price of discounted tickets which was worth it. Although found out later that if you take your Emirates plane tickets, you can also get a discounted ticket: The park was fantastic for all ages. Fantastic rides, from gentle to screamworthy rollecoasters. The restaurants were lovely and the place was spotless. Would highly recommend:

Amazing Service with wonderful rides - We have been in so many theme parks like Disney Land / Europa-Park with the family and friends but one of my favorite place is Dubai Parks and Resorts, especially Motiongate. They have wonderful rides and less time consuming in the queue. It is so nice and clean. We would like to highlight about one of the staff from guest service of Motiongate her name is Priyanka, what a positive energy she carries with big smile. She is very happy person with a big smiling face. We were little bit confused on our way and she escorted us till that particular spot we needed to have our snacks etc… she is so friendly, happy personality and a great person. DPR should feel proud to have her as a team player and she is a good asset for your park to run more smoothly. Apart from that park has a multiple options of food and amazing rides with good facilities of the rest rooms and the storage facility. All the best guys. Since, we stay in Dubai and this is one of our top attractions for theme park to do it on regular basis.

A nice day at Motiongate - Spent a nice day at Motiongate in December break. Considering the schools were out for break it wasn't busy at all; early in the day everything was a walk on, and at most a 20 minute wait in the evening. Its obviously not Disney World but we found plenty of fun rides to amuse ourselves for a full day. Riverland, on the other hand is very sad. Its a very pretty design so you can see all the potential, but most of the restaurants were shut except McDonalds, and the "Christmas market" was just a few half stocked stalls. The far out of the city location probably doesn't help with the lack of people around.

Underwhelming - Informed on arrival that the John Wick ride was down for the day for maintenance, other than that, the rides are decent but underwhelming, coasters length, both the Bullet train and the High Roller are a bit short compared what you find in other countries, which is a shame, but nothing can be done about it. The Blast Off on the other hand, is also a short ride, but here there is no reason for it to be as lame as it is, it's just bad practice, the ride goes up all the way once, goes down once, and then up to the middle and bounces down to a stop. Also, no good reason for the only bus stop to be on the furthest place possible from the main entrance to the parks, at the very edge of the parking lots.

The place to ourselves - We had a great time at Motiongate, not very busy so had the place and some rides to ourselves. A couple of rides not open and different opening hours than stated during the month of April.

Slow services - Very slow services, last time I booked I was very disappointed, thought everything would be perfect but everything in the room was not working and they didn’t solve the issues!

Disappointment from start to finish - Some rides were not operational - many kiosks were not open. Slushies were not ready after 2 hours of the park opening and soft serve ice cream was also not ready. Eating area didn't not have hot drinks even though it was on the menu - extremely disappointed - not worth the money
