Munsterbus is the Best of the Best! - This is a top-shelf company! We had only 2 couples on our tour - and a lesser company would have cancelled our trip. Not Munsterbus. We had a wonderful time and our driver Tony Murphy was fantastic. We had a good blend of historic sites and great scenic views. Tony stopped in some well-hidden places for photos and stretching our legs. He also gave us great advice about where to go for lunches and walking around each of the towns. The hotels were all 4-Star (out of a possible 4 stars). All were very well appointed and all had a bar for evening relaxation. Tony pointed out area pubs that feature music too. When you're in Kilkenny, be sure to visit the Hole in the Wall Pub. It's TINY, seating about 8 people, and it will take a bit of well-rewarded work to find it. The atmosphere is like something our of a novel - and to our absolute delight, a local stopped in and started playing Irish music on a "music box" (like a small accordion)! We visited the Blarney Stone. If you're at all claustrophobic, do NOT go. Climbing up the castle steps involved some very small walkways with low overhead. It's worth noting that if you want to kiss the (unsanitized!!! Blarney Stone. you have to get on the ground, lay on your back and slide into position, looking up at the sky. Of course, there's a concession-type photographer, who will happily sell you a photo when you finally get to the bottom. We opted instead for a photo, shot by our tour mate) of my wife and I having a kiss in front of the Blarney Stone. Close enough in my estimation. Fair warning about the Cliffs of Moher. It's WINDY - my best guess is that it was close to hurricane force. I'd say 55 MPH+. Our guide, Tony Murphy, came through once again. He told us there is a not-very-obvious golf-cart operation that takes people both up and back - and we took full advantage of that. That operation is - of course - named "The Lifts of Moher" and to top it all off, there's a gift shop named "The Gifts of Moher". We went the end of September, straddling into October. Dress warmly as the temperatures are starting to drop. Wear layers and you'll be fine. Finally, I give both Tony Murphy and Munsterbus Tours my highest possible recommendation. They're a 12./10! PS - please consider booking directly with Munsterbus. Their contact information is on the bus (see photos).

A Wonderful Experience! - The 6-day small group tour was right craic! So many beautiful locales and towns visited, including special little stops that would be hard to find without a guide. And you can't go wrong with holding baby goats and sheep! Tony was wonderful - incredibly knowledgeable and funny. He also happily catered to specific activities we were interested in, including horseback riding. I already miss starting off my mornings with Tony on the bus. I couldn't more highly recommend this tour and company. You wool🐑 definitely enjoy yourself. 💚🇮🇪🍀

Amazing 6 day tour - Hands down would recommend this tour for anyone looking to go to Ireland for the first time (or 100th). There’s so many different options and places to visit that I wasn’t sure where to start until Munsterbus was recommended to me on an online forum. Planning a family trip is tough but they made it an absolute breeze with getting to see a lot of the country in a fairly short period of time. Between the customer service (Cathy) and Tony the tour guide, I didn’t have to worry about a thing and they even helped me through some tough flight issues I had. Tony took us through gorgeous parts of Ireland and stopped and adjusted as needed for if people wanted extra time in a spot. The countryside, the mountains, and the coastline “hidden gems” we were able to stop and see (along with some bigger tourist stops) made every day an adventure and a joy to get picked up in the morning and see where we were headed. I’ve only been home about a month and would love to schedule another tour with them. Tony was the nicest, super accommodating, and had a great sense of humor to match my family and the others on the tour with us. Can’t say enough about our time on this tour!

Don't hesitate to book - Tony is an incredible guide. Knowledgeable l, safe, and fun. He happily accommodated my group of ladies. I simply cannot say enough good things about Tony and MunsterBus. I travel a lot and always with small groups of women all over the world. MunsterBus and Tony will get my business everytime I am in Ireland.

Perfect way to see Ireland! - This tour was the most fun you could have! I can't say enough about how well planned and executed the trip was. Although Tony was laid back and easy going, you could tell he knew little details that make all the difference. Rarely did we go more than 90 minutes without stopping to see something amazing or visit a small town to get something to eat. The hotels selected were wonderful, the included breakfasts were all excellent. I wouldn't go back to Ireland without taking another tour with Munstrrbus!

Absolutely Perfect 6 days. Great Guide - Such a great tour. Visited all (or almost all) of the key sites. Never felt rushed and didnt spend multiple hours in the bus. Visited about 4 spots every day and were left to explore a new city pretty much every night. We were given recommendations on where to eat, drink etc. Tony was a great guide, funny and informative. It was obvious that it was a pleasure for him to share his love of his country with guests. The hotels were great-all 4 star, all different. Just the perfect holiday.

Amazing 5 Star experience! - We just completed a phenomenal 6-day small group tour of Ireland, and I can't rave enough about our experience! Our tour guide, Tony, was an absolute gem – his passion for Irish history and culture was contagious, and his insightful commentary enriched every stop along the way. The itinerary was brilliantly crafted, striking a perfect balance between iconic landmarks like the Cliffs of Moher and hidden treasures like the quaint villages of County Kerry. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of activities included, from whiskey tastings to traditional music sessions, each offering a unique glimpse into Ireland's rich heritage. Hotels were top-notch and centrally located too adding an extra layer of charm to our journey. Traveling in a small group allowed for personalized attention and a tight-knit camaraderie among fellow travelers, making each day feel like an adventure with friends. Kudos to the tour company for seamless logistics and comfortable transportation. We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the experience. From the rugged beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way to the mystical landscapes of Connemara, every moment was filled with awe and wonder. This tour exceeded all expectations and left us with memories and new found friendships to last a lifetime. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable journey through the heart of Ireland.
