Howth is renowned for its seafood offerings, but pinpointing the premier places to feast can be challenging. Unwind after a day full of exploring, soak up the local atmosphere with a local guide, and stop by numerous pubs and eaterines in this stunning, fisherman’s hamlet situated a brief 30-minute drive from Dublin. Delight in an array of locally brewed beers and sample some of the richest locally sourced seafood from Ireland such as mussels, Dublin Bay prawns, oysters, gambas, seafood chowder and much more. Along our journey, you’ll hear intriguing tales of the Norman and Viking invasions, legends of the aged Howth Castle, dating back 700 years, and converse with your guide to gain tailored advice along with a deeper understanding of the city’s expansive past.

Mark and Missy, a great tour guide duo - Excellent tour and excellent company! Mark and his cute little Charles King Spaniel are awesome guides. The food options were paired perfectly with the beer selections. Mark was knowledgeable about the local area of Howth. He even took photos along the way and made a video at the end. Thank you Mark and Missy for a wonderful last day in Ireland.

Perfect seafood and beer experience - Excellent food and company! Mark is very hospitable and knowledgeable about the local food and drink scene in Howth. The selection of food and beer were perfectly paired. My favorite were the mussels from the Oar House paired with a local Weitbeer from Hope brewery. Mark was kind enough to take plenty of pictures and even made a little video of our journey at the end! Loved that he brought along his cute little fur baby Missy! Thank you Mark for a great ending to our Ireland journey! Highly recommended!

Highly Recommend - We had a great time on this tour! Mark is friendly and personable. The beer and seafood selections were fantastic — a very nice variety! We also liked the fact that he limits the size of the tour (our group had 10 people) so it felt more like a casual walk with some new friends.

Must do - Great way to finish an amazing trip around Ireland. Plenty of craft beer and super fresh seafood to keep you occupied but the real treat is all the local insights and great conversations led by Mark. Missy of course was the star of the show but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We will definitely pop in to see Mark and Missy on our next trip across the pond!

This Tour is a Must! - Mark was amazing! We had the tour booked long in advance but actually ran into a local in Galway that told us his tour is a must so we had high hopes and he did not disappoint! Great food, beer, and even better conversation. Only bummer is I couldn’t take Missy home with me! She is a star!

A great day out in Howth! - Mark was a great tour guide, very friendly and open. It was fun walking around with other travelers and learning about Howth and seeing some of the famous spots in the area. The food and beer were plentiful and tasty. Plus his dog Missy was a welcome addition to the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the sights and tastes of Howth.
