Highlight of our Dublin trip! - What a perfect way to spend an afternoon!! Marina was so accommodating and sweet for our large family with kids. By the time the tour was over, she felt like family. She is knowledgeable with history and with fun random facts and you can tell she enjoys sharing with others. The walk itself was breathtaking and wonderful. Beaches, small villages, ice cream, flowers, castles, swimmers! Can Marina just lead us all the way through Ireland?

Great tour, lots of walking - What a day we had in Dublin! We were met on time very close to where we got off the tender. We walked through villages receiving fun and exciting facts about the city, villages and the country of Ireland. We were so surprised to see that residents like to go swimming in 40°F weather in windy conditions, but our guide told us lots of people do that here. At the end of the tour is a train ride and back to the city. Great tour, lots of walking!

Excellent Coastal Tour with Fantastic Guide - I had a wonderful tour with Marina, who was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. She was passionate about the history and culture of Dun Laoghaire (one of the first things you learn is its pronunciation!), Dalkey, Dublin, and Ireland, which made the tour that much more enjoyable. The coastal views, the architecture, and the small-town charms are all highlights and nice contrasts to central Dublin. The train ride from Dalkey to Bray has amazing views (unfortunately, the dirty DART windows obscured them somewhat), and you should spend time walking along the promenade in Bray after the tour ends. It's a walking tour of about 4~5km, so you do need to be somewhat fit and mobile. There are uneven surfaces, stairs, and narrow passages, so I would not recommend a group tour for anyone with mobility issues. Opt for a private tour or the self-guided tour, so you can move at your own pace. (Unfortunately, regardless of tour type, those with mobility issues won't be able to go up the James Joyce Tower for the amazing views.) Marina provided a ton of recommendations for things to do, places to visit, and of course, food to eat. You can't do everything, so you have an incentive to return. As an aside, due to a lost item (which was never found), I retraced the steps of the tour. Without Marina's commentary or the stops (plus the stress of searching the ground), it was less pleasant the second time around, but the views and the architecture were still stunning. I can't recommend Marina or the tour enough. If you're looking for a day trip just outside of central Dublin, this is a great option.

Great tour - Marina is an excellent speaker. Might be a god idea to mention it is a 4 hr tour and technically you don’t get to eat until 3 pm. I would do it again but would have eaten a better breakfast .

Walking Excursion along Coast - We thoroughly enjoyed listening to Marina tell us about the area as we walked along! We walked from Dun Laoghaire to Dalkey. I think that is about two miles. We were amazed people were swimming at Sandycove Beach. We couldn't continue on to Bray because the train was closed because of engineering. We did the tour on a Monday (only free time we had) and the James Joyce Museum is closed on Mondays. We still saw a lot. Marina was very kind, responsive to our questions and very helpful to set this excursion up for us!

Explore Irish history and culture through excellent walking tour - Equally stunning and engrossing walking tour along the southern shore of Dublin Bay that includes views of the Roger Casement statue and visits to the Forty Foot bathing area and Martello Towers (including one briefly inhabited by James Joyce). Small group (2) provided us the opportunity to engage our excellent guide Marina in far ranging discussions of history, historical memory, Irish politics, housing, and immigration.

We even had sunshine - Marina was just delightful and full of information about the towns and history of this beautiful area. We enjoyed every minute. Especially the climb up and down the stairs of the watchtower! We finished with a pub lunch in dalkey. The train ride from the city and back was a cinch. A lovely day. Thank you marina!
