Roguishly good time - Excellent tour. The Dublin Rogues tour is aptly named - lots of great stories about some truly interesting characters from Irish history. Dave is a great guide, full of charm and wit. Really would love to have had the time to book one of the other tours he offers.

Unique Tour, Brilliant Guide - Dave Kavanagh was an excellent tour guide, he is very knowledgeable and brings humour into the tour.Exceptional knowledge of the History of Ireland and the unique Dublins Rogue Tour. We were so lucky as it was a bleak January day and we had him all to ourselves, would definitely recommend.

Irish history brought to life - I spent a most enjoyable 2 hours with Dave, the guide for the Dublin Rogues Tour. Dave’s deep knowledge of Irish history and his ability to engage his audience with stories of the heroes and rogues featured in Merrion Square Park was delightful. A wonderful walking tour with a difference.

A master storyteller! - This was an amazing experience all the more because, instead of being in a group of 20-30 it was just myself and the man himself, Dave Kavanagh. If Dave is not a Dublin legend, he deserves to be. His knowledge is encyclopaedic, his storytelling skills mesmerising and his enthusiasm for his subject completely infectious. Over just under an hour we (I) were treated to the tales of Legendary Merrion Square figures such as Oscar Wilde, Bernardo O’Higgins, Michael Collins, Brendan Behan, WB Yeats, ‘AE’, Daniel O’Connell and Dermot ‘Father Ted’ Morgan. As an encore, he even threw in the legend of Darkey Kelly, Ireland’s first recorded serial killer! Totally recommended- you will NOT know where your hour went! Thanks Dave!

An Enjoyable Ramble Through a Dublin Rogues Gallery - My favourite part of this tour was Dave's commentary. He mixed fact with tall tales and kept us interested the whole time. He really knows his stuff. I'd recommend this tour to any visitor with an hour or so that enjoys nature, architecture and history. The characters Dave talks about are all depicted in the park in some form or other. You'll learn little known information about them and have the opportunity to find out more from Dave at the end of his tour if you need to ask questions. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Thanks Dave!
