Best Kept Secrets Indeed - My daughter signed 3 of us for the tour. When we planned the Dublin trip, I planned to see so many of the things and places Dublin was famous for. We saw none of those at this tour. Instead, we went to see the small, interesting things and places that we would not have otherwise thought of visiting but that actually make up the fabric of Dublin’s history. Patrick told us the story of the ducks at St Stephen’s Green Park . Who would have thought that those ducks had historical significance! We got to sample Murphy’s Ice Cream; we visited a shop that made the Claddagh Celtic rings and we learned the story of Richard Joyce who according to legend invented the ring. The most memorable was learning about James Joyce and participating in the reading of Ulysses at the Sweny’s Pharmacy which was featured in the book. We got to sing along with PJ Murphy to a song about Molly Malone! How cool is that! Patrick ended the tour by treating us to coffee and tea. He kept us all entertained with a game that I lost but enjoyed immensely. Patrick is the ultimately tour guide. So knowledgeable, funny and engaging. I left with the feeling that Dublin is not just another city. There is a greater love and appreciation for Dublin, its history and its people. Thank you, Patrick!

Wonderful and memorable - Patrick has made me see Dublin in a new light. I went on a tour with my husband and my mom, and we all have different interests and experiences and we all had such an amazing time. Patrick was such an engaging and thoughtful storyteller and took us to places and communities and perspectives that we wouldn't know how to access otherwise. I knew there was going to be a surprise at the end, based on the other reviews, but I wasn't prepared for how amazing it was going to be. We still talk about the tour to this day. Don't pass up on a tour with Patrick.

Stood up and missed the notice! - Our tour guide sent a trip adviser email 7 days before telling us "sorry no tour I had to leave Dublin" However, I missed his email and the day of we were looking for him at the meet up location and it was then I searched for the tour status and found his message with no attempt to rebook. That's when I had to request a Trip Advisor refund. You would think that would have been automatic since his no tour email was sent 7 days before!
