Highly Recommend!!! - We went to EPIC at the end of July 2024 and loved it. My 3 kids (15, 13, and 10) all enjoyed walking through the museum. They gave us passports that you were able to stamp as you went through the 20+ different rooms they have that explore what Irish immigrants went through. I would highly recommend this, especially for those whose parents or grand parents emigrated.

A wonderful way to learn about the extensice history of the irish - We did a self guided walking tour through the Irish Emmigration Museum. The history of Irish who have emmigrated throughout the world is fastinating and their accomplishments span everything from writing to inventions. Leave plenty of time, several hours, to wander through the exhibits as they cover a lot. Overall, the museum was extensive and the history it covered very detailed. A great way to spend a day and learn all about the Irish people.

A must see objective in the heart of Dublin - Very interesting museum, and a lot of surprises regarding the Irish History, presented with specific irish pride by the museum:-). The emigration brings, in fact a lot of good facts for Irlanda, after the emigrants could give back to the home contry what they have learnd and earned abroad. And those facts are presented amazing în the museum. Don't forget to take your visit passport at the entrance.

The Irish Potato Famine - The Famine stories and the visit to the Jeanie Johnston was most appropriate. I was chairman of the Jeane Joihnston construction project and familiar with the story but was most impressed by how that most unfortunate period in Irish history was was depicted in EPIC

Worth a visit. Learnt a lot. - Well done museum. The passport system is creative and kept us engaged. The various topics were mostly well produced except for the last one called “connection”. It was pointless.

I like the computer... - I like the computer search for my ancestors. Maybe get another because the line was a little long. Otherwise I enjoyed learning about the Irish diaspora.

Surprised - We were surprised to see a focus on specific emigrants rather than a sequential chronological history of conditions that led to different emigration surges… I was also surprised to learn that the genealogy appointments required pre-booking and cost what they did..

No - Totally interesting visit. Succession of totally empty rooms, if not sometimes three tinkerings hung here and there on the ceiling. The “museum” is not one of them, the visit being limited to viewing screens on a particular theme (food, English laws, singers, Nobel Award, etc.) You might as well put it online or watch it on your phone. Poorly informative, the themes being barely touched not even in depth on some points (exposing 3 seconds of a life of a guy who died 400 years ago is of no interest). If the new scenography of modern museums is limited to the viewing of screens, while we go on holiday to get away from our daily lives, all this is very sad...
