The best! - Harry was so kind to wait for us when we were late. It was just our party of 3, which made it even more memorable. We were so excited to see seals and puffins! He truly made our daughter’s day. Thanks again for the amazing time.

Fantastic educational cruise around Dublin harbor - Being from the coast of Massachusetts in the US we love taking coastal trips and the trip from Howth around the Ireland Eye was a perfect, inexpensive adventure for my wife and me. Captain Harry was a terrific guide full of local knowledge. I was especially impressed with his knowledge of the animal life including the migratory habits and seasons of birds ( including puffins that we saw even with their short seasonal stay) and the sea life from the gray seals and harbors seals to the shellfish industry - lobsters and oysters. He also provided historical background to the guard towers in the area built by the British to warn of a possible French invasion - amazing stuff! We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it - it is more economical than others but be forewarned that the boat has no covered area and the passenger seating area is completely exposed to the elements so weather may be a consideration.

Boat ride - The boat tour was enjoyable—long enough to get a taste of being out on the water, but short enough that you weren’t getting seasick from the choppy water. Get view of the island cliffs

Puffins spotted! - This was a fun and intimate little boat ride. Most of the wildlife we saw were birds, with one sunbathing seal making an appearance. We did manage to spot a few puffins! Who knew they could be so small. My one complaint is that our ride was around 40 minutes although it is advertised for approximately an hour. It would have been nice to stop and observe more of the wildlife since we had the extra time.
