Poetry Tour with John the Man! - John is such a kind and lovely man, he took on my husband and I into the tour group though we didn't book ahead of time. His knowledge of and love for the village of Howth shine through the entire time. He will take you down the path less traveled to the most beautiful views and photo spots. To top it off, he's a poet! A mini poetry reading was the highlight of our tour.

Howth Cliff tour with John the Man! - John the Man was the nicest, sweetest soul! He surprised my daughter and I with our own personal tour. We went to Howth expecting to just wing it, but we ran into John outside the train station and after having to wait and wait and wait for a bus, John said he was going with us to ensure we had the BEST day! He was full of knowledge and my daughter and I learned so much and experienced breathtaking views off the beaten path! He truly made our day magical and we felt like we gained a friend!

Loved it - We had a wonderful time hiking with John along the beautiful coastal area of Howth. His knowledge and enthusiasm were infectious. We would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Dublin and wants to leave the city for a short break.

Above and beyond - John’s tour of Howth highlighted, yet again, the welcoming nature of the Irish People! His stories, woven with poetry throughout the tour brought ancient history merged with modern times. We enjoyed the cliff tops, ocean views, Yeats’ home and personal stories of the Abbey, let alone the history behind the pub “The Bloody Stream” John is a gentleman, a character and has a true passion for showcasing his family area of Howth. If you’re wanting to dig beneath the surface of the cute pubs, markets and scenery and know more of where you walk, this is the tour for you.

Meeting people and landscapes with John - We hiked with "John the Man" from Howth summit to the harbour. John knows well how to win people over and make us laugh, also the places to make good photos and the most entertaining story anecdotes. We really enjoyed the experience.

Beautiful walk with amazing colors. The only thing more colorful than the hills was John the Man - John the Man was an amazing host. We ran into him outside the bus station. He asked us our expectations and proceeded to exceed all of them!
