An excellent ramble in Howth - My husband and I had a lovely time on this hike! We had a beautiful sunny day which allowed us to see South to the mountains of Wickalow and North to the Mhor mountains. Our guide Dee was amazing. As a former school teacher she came prepared with plenty of facts from Viking Raids to which pubs were the best in town. She even helped me with the bus system which I had never taken in Ireland before. She told me which bus to get on and where, and made sure I got on the right one back to Dublin. We were accompanied by some other friendly tourists who were nice to chat with as we went along. I would definitely recommend this hike to folks who like a ramble, are interested in the local culture and history, and don’t want to get lost!

Highly recommended! - A beautiful 3 hour walk. From the city of Dublin you can reach this beautiful area by Dart train within half an hour. Our enthusiastic guides Zack and Eileen then made sure we had a great day in Howth.

Very windy but impressive expierence. - We went on this tour as part of a citytrip to Dublin. We were interested to see some of the great nature Ireland has to offer. This trip more than exceeded that need. Nice views across the cliffs and a knowledgeable guide completed our positive expierence. Pay attention: strong winds can be expected during this trip so dress well.

Unforgettable, amazing experience in Howth - I am usually very critical when it comes to tours, but I’m not lying when I say that this is probably one of the best tours I’ve ever been in. The views were breathtaking and the guide Dee was excellent! We took so many photos and had an amazing time discovering the wonders of Howth. 100% recommendable!!!

Best experience ever - I planned this trip to Ireland as my first solo trip, and I wanted to make sure that yes, I do the touristy things, but I also wanted to make sure I was able to explore and get to know the environment with locals too. Not to mention, I love finding little gems that stay true to history. I met Zack & his trusty sidekick Loki and come to find out, my tour was going to be a private tour! No complaints on my end at all because I was expecting it to be in a group so I was nervous about it being slow or rushed of a tour. Luckily that wasn't the case! Pictures and words will not be able to express how much I enjoyed exploring the village. Zack being a local, he was able to tell me the history of the vikings, and how Howth came to, but also provided that personable charm of stories of where he worked, and how everyone knows everyones! The hike was a hike. I was winded in some parts, but thats just because I hate cardio, overall if you're able to walk and climb a smidgen on a trail of rocks, without worry of hurting yourself because of steep hills.. you'll enjoy this. The view is breathtaking, and breathing it all in is refreshing. Small town charm, with some local culture is ALWAYS a win. Also... love seafood, so Zach recommended that I go to King Sitrics (a place he used to work at of course) and 10/10 recommend. I definitely rewarded myself after that hike 😂

Very nice expérience - the guide was very nice. we arrived with our 5 year old daughter, the guide advised us to take a boat trip instead of the hike which will not be suitable for her age with no extra charge. We also had a great time with the dog locky and the bout tour was amazing.
