Best part of Dublin for us! - We loved Bryan! He is so knowledgeable and nice! Had fun chatting with him. He knew everything about the area and the history of the bands. You could tell there was great respect for the talent and history of music in Ireland.

Fantastic! - An early Christmas gift and a perfect experience in this mythical place, where some great Irish musicians rehearsed, and  some still do! Being in the room where it all started for U2, being able to play some power chords in the experience room and step into a recording studio is fabulous, but doing it with the family and having Marisa as a guide, made the experience unforgettable!

A concise review of Irish rock - Came to learn about Irish rock history, left charmed by our guide Marisa :D Overall a really concise, well put together overview of the legacy of Irish rock. The ability to "perform" in one of the rehersal rooms is a nice touch for the more extroverted visitors. My only minor gripe is that, ironically, the "cinema" room has subpar sound quality with harsh sound and bass, that makes the speaker resonte... a speaker that stands in front of a rack with 4 EQ units 😅

The stories of Rock 'n' Roll come alive with Alan! - The tour with Alan through the museum/studios was the highlight of the whole week in Dublin for my family. He cares to give a realistic and human impression about irish rock music, its creators and its influence in the world. It was a memorable experience and with its nearly 2 hours definitely too short. The visit of the museum should be a priority in your itinerary for Dublin!

Shivering emotion;) - I didn't think I'd enjoy a visit like this especially with teenagers and yet I do. Thanks to Coline our French guide who shared us full of emotions, we had a great time. I highly recommend it.

Best museum in Dublin. - If you find yourself in Dublin, you absolutely can’t miss the Irish Rock 'n' Roll Museum. As an Irish local, I can tell you this place is a true gem! Nestled right in the heart of the city, it celebrates our rich musical heritage and the legends that have put Ireland on the rock 'n' roll map. When you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a treasure trove of memorabilia. From the legendary Thin Lizzy to the iconic U2, you’ll get to see personal artifacts, costumes, and instruments that have shaped the sound of our nation. The guided tours are brilliant—our guides share stories that’ll give you goosebumps, taking you through the evolution of Irish music and its influence worldwide. One of my favorite parts is the chance to see some of the equipment used in recording studios. You might even get to step on a stage where famous bands once played! It’s a fantastic way to connect with the music that’s woven into the very fabric of Irish culture. So, if you’re planning your trip, make sure to pencil in a visit to the Irish Rock 'n' Roll Museum. It’s not just a museum; it’s an experience that’ll leave you with a deeper appreciation for Ireland’s musical spirit. Trust me, you’ll be singing along before you know it!

interesting tour with bryan - The tour was very interesting. Bryan, our tour guide was very competent and told us many storys from behind the scenes. Although English is not our mother tongue, we understood everything perfectly. This trip is really worth it

Walking in the steps of (ordinary) giants - Really quirky interesting absorbing tour. My wife wasn't overly enthusiastic initially but she also loved it. Me, I just wanted to see (one of) Rory Gallaghers beat up old strats! Eddie (Emily?) was a great guide and full of anecdotal stories about the bands and individuals who've graced the studios or have Dublin roots. I felt a bit out of touch with some of the more recent or current bands - Rory is more my era and I did see him, with Taste, in his earlier days so I wished there was more about him but then he did leave us far too early. U2 I can take but I'm not a die hard fan. I'd have loved more of Seonaid O'Connor too and there wasn't much of Van the Man but I guess it's difficult to balance ages and tastes in a tour and overall it is really worth going on this tour. (Careful though if you're an aspiring or veteran musician be ready to be asked to play something)...I should have kept my mouth shut as it's nerve wracking and stressful if you've never played to an audience - even a small one - before! 😖😵‍💫🥴 Great tour though if you are at all interested in music. Also it's good for guitar lust even if there wasn't much information about the instruments on show but you can just stare!
