Kind, down-to-earth, eye opening, worth every cent - I’ve never gone on TripAdvisor. The fact that I bothered to sign in and create an account just to write this really goes to suggest the length of my gratitude towards the tour guide Pat (I suppose Pat for Patrick?). His kindness. Genuinity. Respect even to other people on the road whom he doesn’t know. If you’re looking for a tour where you get to see the highlights not too far from Dublin, and yet enjoy an “off-the-beaten” track experience with a SMALL group of tourist and an extremely personable guide, you’re at the right place. Of the 40 countries I’ve visited, Ireland has come out right on top, in part due to the hospitality and service oriented-ness of the Wild Wicklow, and in other parts due to the sheer kindness, professionalism and passion that everyone in Dublin had displayed — from the GPO, to the bookstores, to the mountains. I know it gets tiring sometimes to deal with tourists day in, day out— but I’m leaving this note to let you know what a difference you’ve made to someone’s life by showing me not only mountains, but pure Irish hospitality. This service orientedness is in stark contrast to close-by places in Europe that I’ve experienced. Kudos to Pat, Kudos to the Wild Wicklow, Kudos to Ireland.

History, beauty, excitement, a touch of the Irish and a toast: what could be better? - This tour and our guide were the perfect combination to top off a magical trip to Ireland. We were entertained with history, astounding facts, legends, and beautiful sites. Our guide was a never ending wealth of knowledge, wit, and laughter, A perfectly entertaining gentleman who treated us to a nip of Jamison to boot!

Best opportunity to spend a day - The views were amazing and the guide did an amazing job. He not only kept us on time and ensured that everyone felt comfortable, he gave lots of information about Irland, the region we are travelling through, live here now and in history. Air-condition and power supply on the bus worked well.

Great experience A+ - Great, informative, learned a lot from our guide Nile; our tour included an 8 am pickup from a nearby hotel and concluded a bit after 5 pm; comfortable nearly new motorcoach; lots of history plus modern references

Great way to experience nature just outside of Dublin. - The Wild Wicklow tour provided an amazing opportunity to get out of the Dublin city center and experience some of the most beautiful landscape in the world. It was also great fun to spend the day with our guide, John!

Incredible birthday experience - I bought this for myself as a birthday present. It was an amazing experience, so many beautiful places in one package! I would have stayed longer if I could have. Met many fun people on the trip as well, so it was not lonely as a solo traveller. Pat was an incredible guide. He knew so much about each place, looked after us very well, and had the whole bus sing happy birthday to me when he found out it was my birthday. Very sweet man. I had a very good time.

The views magical! The coffee & lunch stops, delicious 😋 - The views absolutely better than any photo...breathtaking and magical! I did sólo trip and it was an excellent way to meet new people. The timing for each activity. I'm a plus size woman with an occasional bad knee, if I can go on the hikes so can you! The coffee and lunch stops had a magistic feel, plenty of choices, and delicious! I also like that it was a 20 passenger van and not a huge bus. Overall, highly recommended it. Overcast? No problem! Wear reds Pinks, or blues. It makes for eye-catching photos in contrast of the vivid Irish green hills. Don't over think it. Book now!
