Beyond Our Wildest Wicklow Dreams!! - We are two sisters who booked this trip as a way to see the natural beauty of the Wicklow mountains while in Dublin for a vacation. This was the #1 highlight of our trip in Ireland, largely thanks to our fantastic guide, Patrick. Patrick’s commentary was the perfect balance between informational and entertaining, making for a warm welcome to Ireland. The bus tour included cozy indoor stops and several short hikes to stunning lookouts. Even with a little bit of snow and rain, the views were breathtaking. Patrick truly made the trip, he was full of facts about history, pop culture, Irish laws and customs, and more! This trip 100% lived up to the ad on the side of the bus!!

Kind, down-to-earth, eye opening, worth every cent - I’ve never gone on TripAdvisor. The fact that I bothered to sign in and create an account just to write this really goes to suggest the length of my gratitude towards the tour guide Pat (I suppose Pat for Patrick?). His kindness. Genuinity. Respect even to other people on the road whom he doesn’t know. If you’re looking for a tour where you get to see the highlights not too far from Dublin, and yet enjoy an “off-the-beaten” track experience with a SMALL group of tourist and an extremely personable guide, you’re at the right place. Of the 40 countries I’ve visited, Ireland has come out right on top, in part due to the hospitality and service oriented-ness of the Wild Wicklow, and in other parts due to the sheer kindness, professionalism and passion that everyone in Dublin had displayed — from the GPO, to the bookstores, to the mountains. I know it gets tiring sometimes to deal with tourists day in, day out— but I’m leaving this note to let you know what a difference you’ve made to someone’s life by showing me not only mountains, but pure Irish hospitality. This service orientedness is in stark contrast to close-by places in Europe that I’ve experienced. Kudos to Pat, Kudos to the Wild Wicklow, Kudos to Ireland.

History, beauty, excitement, a touch of the Irish and a toast: what could be better? - This tour and our guide were the perfect combination to top off a magical trip to Ireland. We were entertained with history, astounding facts, legends, and beautiful sites. Our guide was a never ending wealth of knowledge, wit, and laughter, A perfectly entertaining gentleman who treated us to a nip of Jamison to boot!

Best opportunity to spend a day - The views were amazing and the guide did an amazing job. He not only kept us on time and ensured that everyone felt comfortable, he gave lots of information about Irland, the region we are travelling through, live here now and in history. Air-condition and power supply on the bus worked well.
