Great Trip to Dubrovnik from Makarska - This trip was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it! If you’re wanting to visit Dubrovnik from Makarska Riviera, this is the trip for you! It took around 2 1/2 hours to get to Dubrovnik from Makarska Riviera, driving along the incredibly scenic highway. We stopped for refreshments about an hour and a bit in at a small coffee shop on the side of the road which had a stunning view. Once at Dubrovnik, we received audio devices so that we could all hear Josep the tour guide clearly. We spent about an hour doing a walking tour and then had 3 hours of free time to wander around and see the city. The old town is beautiful and definitely worth visiting - we also took the cable car up the mountain for some amazing views over Dubrovnik. Josep was great! He had a lot of interesting facts about Croatia and pointed out some land marks as we drove to Dubrovnik (as well as on the way back). The walking tour he did was also very interesting - definitely recommend!

Dubrovnik Sightseeing - Really enjoyed the trip. Our guide Anna Maria was very good. The bus journey from the adriatic hotel resort took about 2hrs, and we were given a tour on the way of villages and landmarks that we passed. The bus stopped a couple of times for photo opps and for refreshments. Once we arrived in Dubrovnik we were handed over to another local tour guide, I can't remember his name though! Again, really great tour lots of details, and local insights. We don't normally go in for guided tours so I wasn't sure how much I enjoyed it, but the tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and we had a great time. We arrived in Dubrovnik at about twenty to twelve and the bus picked us up to leave at half 3. I'll definitely return to Dubrovnik as 3 and a bit hours is nowhere near enough time to properly see the city, there is a lot to offer.
