Private family tour - We had a private tour, which was smart, as we were able to skip the lines and large bus tours which dominated. Very knowledgeable pleasant local guide. Pleasant and fun tour. Highly recommended!

Interesting city tour - Our guide, Vlaho, was incredibly knowledgeable about the fascinating history of Dubrovnik and its inhabitants. As a local, he was able to add a number of small details about how people lived, the culture & how the city developed that made the tour interesting. The tour even showed some details of damage from the Balkans war in the 1990’s & how the city has since restored. Vlaho’s insight into local customs made the tour far more personal, as did his friendly, welcoming style. I really enjoyed the tour.

Excellent Guide and Tour - While it costs a fair bit more, it was well worth booking the private tour. Our guide was called Tea. A local who was an experienced and knowledgeable guide who had grown up in and around the old city. Tea was able to tailor things to our requirements. We love to see the full picture and ask lots of questions, so we not only found out, and saw, much of the history of the old town, but also some of the more modern history and issues facing the current population. We learnt a lot and finished the tour feeling very satisfied. We were also able to ask some questions for tips and guidance for the rest of our stay. Having seen the size of some of the other tour groups, i think that anything larger than around 8 people would struggle, in the narrow streets and alleyways, to hear what the guide was saying or see what they looking at. Our thanks to Tea for making our day such a good one and we wish her well for the future. Mike and Tracey
