Highlights
  • Dubrovnik Walks - This is our meeting point, we all gather here, the guide briefly presents him/herself and off we go! 1,5 h tour begins!

Dubrovnik never fails to awe the visitor; its streets paved with white limestone, its walls crowning the city, and its medieval sandstone-colored houses oozing with history.

This 1.5-hour guided walking tour takes you deep into the city’s 1,400-year history, recalling ancient tales when Dubrovnik was one of the world’s most prosperous port cites. It tells tales of war and lets the tour-goer in on the culture of the city.

After meeting in Pile area, in front of Sky bar, begin the journey through history and through Old Town. Pass the Franciscan Monastery and admire Orlando’s Column, a monument on the Stradun inspired by the city’s long-standing freedom and sovereignty. See, too, Onofrio’s Fountain, built in 1438 at the end of a 8-mile (12-km) aqueduct that gave the city its water supply.

The walk also passes by the Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace and the Cathedral of the Assumption, a baroque church built after the devastating earthquake of 1667.

A must do in Dubrovnik - This tour was spectacular (& we don’t usually do tours)! Branko was a magnificent, engaging, intelligent, humorous and heartfelt guide. He is a wealth of knowledge on Croatian culture & society. We loved every minute and dollar spent to partake on this tour, which provided us with a rich perspective on Dubrovnik and the history and circumstances of this beautiful country. Dubrovnik Old Town tour - fantastic! - Branko was an amazing tour guide. His perspective, being a native Croatian, really helped cement my understanding of Dubrovnik and its long history. He made the tour really interesting and fun with his use of questions, facts, and humor. This tour was mostly about really distant history but he also talked briefly about the 1991 war that ravaged beautiful Dubrovnik. He wove in enough Balkan history that it wasn't overwhelming but was very informative. Our goal in taking the tour was to learn about places we might want to visit afterward and that goal was met. Excellent tour. I highly recommend it!

Dubrovnik walking tour is worth your time! - I highly recommend this walking tour in Old Town Dubrovnik. Our tour guide was Branko who was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned so much about the history of the town, both very much in the past and a bit on the war in the 90s. The 1.5 hr tour was well worth it -especially with Branko!
