  • Battleship of Croatian navy-task force - Monument is installed in 2001. in the honor of falling Dubrovnik defenders.
    “Falling for the Homeland does not mean falling.
    It means rising, becoming as great as she is.
    These words, along with the names of fallen defenders, are engraved on the monument in Batala, erected in 2001 by the Association of Volunteers of the Croatian Navy – Dubrovnik Branch. Today, they have also restored the letters of the names of those who fell for the homeland, and today, those 15 names are clearly visible. Bravo!
