Highlights
  • Perast - On our way to Kotor, main destination on this Tour, we will stop at small town Perast. Here you will have some time for your own, either just to walk and have drink somewhere by the sea, either to visit islets where Old Benedictine`s Monastery and Church of Our Lady of the Rocks are. Entrance fee for islets is not included in price.
    - Kotor Old City - Kotor is medieval town at the bottom of Boka Bay ( often called the most southern fjord of Europe). Old Town of Kotor is included UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list since 2017. Our recommendation is to visit the Cathedral of St. Tripun, the church of St. Luke and city walls. But you can just wander around the Old Town and explore by yourselves.

Great day out , fabulous Guide “Duro”, 5⭐️ - Absolutely fabulous day out ! , so worth while to see another country (Montenegro) and learn about the history of the region, We were picked up from our apartment by the must wonderful Guide “Douro”(George), he was so knowledgeable about the areas we passed through and allowed us to stop for coffee or pictures upon request, no problem for him to help out with the souvenir photos either 😊📸, we stopped a number of times around the Boka Bay Area in the picturesque costal villages and took a Small cruise to see the “Lady of the lake rock” island, this lady and villagers were famous for building this church to keep sailors of the region safe on their voyages , we had an opportunity to stop in the Town of Kotor do some sightseeing of the old church and Monasteries as well as the town fortress high above the walled old town, after some lunch we set off for the route home taking in some breathtaking views above of the bay of Boka, all in all a great day enriched by a great guide and driver Duro, in our Air conditioned Mercedes. Thanks to Josip for arranging the day for us , Brian Caroline & Ellie (Ireland) April 2024.

Fantastic day in Montenegro - Best day trio with our very knowledgeable guide, Baldo, around Kotor, Perast and Budva. Stunning scenery, lots of history and anecdotes, great coffee over the “southern fjord”. On a practical side, very comfortable car and safe driver. A must do if you are staying in Dubrovnik.

Perfect Private Tour! - I was so impressed by the professionalism and kindness of my driver that I decided during my Montenegro trip to book with the same driver for another trip to Bosnia. I was so glad to take the time to have the tours of the area - truly spectacular and beautiful! I felt safe in both instances and had amicable conversations both trips. Would highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful Boka Bay - Dubrovnik Day trip to Montenegro and Bosnia - We were more than happy. It was a great day because our english speaking driver Baldo did all he could to tailor the tour to our wishes. Also he was very friendly, chatty and gave us background Information. Most important: we got the impression that he is a very professionell driver, always carefully and secure driving and he managed to pass the borders at the best points so we did not have to wait to long. Very professionell! We skipped Kotor completely and spent more time in quiter towns which was just perfect: Herceg Novi, Perast, Trebinje. Even the drive through the mountains between Perast and Trebinje was amazing!

Good trip with some minor issues - We had this private Montenegro tour in later August. We decided on a private tour over a group tour primarily for Covid concerns. One thing that I did not understand prior to s few days before the tour that private tours do not include a guide who speaks on the road during the trip ( like in a bus when you are on a group tour). The driver we had spoke relatively good English and provided some basic information but he was not a real guide, and sometimes we felt it as a disadvantage. We did not want a guide inside cities we visited, but somebody more knowledgeable on the road will be helpful. We were provided enough time in each city we visited ( Kotor, Budva). We did not have enough time to see Perast but were provided 30 minutes to see an island church in the city of Perast. We spent 2 hours in Kotor and 2 hours in Budva. The drive to Budva and from Budva was heavily jammed by traffic and we spent about 45 minutes at the border as well. I am not sure if this is a good idea to see both cities in the same day, because of the usual heavy summer traffic, although I am glad we saw Budva at the end. It is lively and the old town is very picturesque, although probably not historically as interesting as Kotor. Kotor is a must and you can spend full four hours there, I wish we could have 3 hours in each of this places but that would make the trip way too long. I also wish the driver would drop us and pick us up in Budva a little closer to the old town to allow us to save more time. There was parking right next to the old town but we parked in a garage 15 minutes away. What I did not like was the fact that the driver constantly complained that the trip was long and at the end of the trip asked for tips. Since the tour was already not cheap, I declined his request and he was seemingly angry and unhappy. Also, although we have been promised a van, we were given a medium-size SUV instead, which was not very comfortable for the family of four. These two things made a bad impression and made us feel uncomfortable. However, the owner of the agency, Josip, dealt very professionally with this situation. He organized for us a very comfortable and cheap ride to the airport and was very helpful in all organization issues and advice. Overall, I would recommend this tour. Kotor and Budva are great places to visit, church in Perast is very interesting and the tour was very well organized. Just it will be a good ideal to discuss all details beforehand and know what to expect.
