These sea caves can only be accessed by swimming, as their entrances are too narrow for boats. The caves’ distinctive green glow is produced by sunlight reflecting off the seabed and cave walls, providing visitors with a captivating visual experience.

• Daksa - Daksa is the smallest island in the Elaphite Islands group, located near Dubrovnik. It covers an area of 5 hectares, with its highest point reaching 24 meters. On the northwestern cape of Daksa stands the “Otočić Daksa” lighthouse. For centuries, it served as a gathering place for religious individuals and monks from across Europe who resided in the monastery on Daksa, built by Sabo Getaldić in 1281. The tranquility was ideal for the Franciscans who lived there until Napoleon’s army arrived in 1806. Today, only the ruins of this monastery remain. Adjacent to the monastery was the church of St. Sabin.
