5/5 recommended!! - What a gorgeous place! A lot of time alloted in Kotor, a bit more than 3 hours, this gave us enough time for a 45 min walking tour provided by this tour, sit down breakfast, the hike up to the church for the view, and some souvenir shopping. Gorgeous boat ride to the Lady of the Rocks and some more time alloted for a snack and walking down the one main street in Perast. 5/5 stars for this tour, our guide Sandra was also lovely!

10/10 recommend - By far one of the best tours I have been on. Great communication, small group, good historical narration, seamless border crossing. These guys are good. Best use of my time on this vacation. Book them. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing tour!! - This was absolutely amazing. My group made some mistakes and the tour group totally stepped up and fixed the problem for us even though it was our fault. The guide was amazing, as was the boat and Kotor guide, bus driver and boat captain! All went out of their way to provide a wonderful experience!!

Cute tourist towns with a 5.5 hour bus ride to get back. - I enjoyed Montenegro. However a 2.5 hour trip back to Dubrovnik took 5.5 hours. There is no mention of the possible delay anywhere in the tour information. Despite seeing the traffic on the way to Montenegro, the guide seemed confident it wouldn't be as bad on the way back. Had we been informed of the possible delay, we could have been prepared with extra water and snacks. Perhaps the company could have an emergence water stash on board. I got severely dehydrated sitting on the bus for that long. If you're deciding between Bosnia and Montenegro I would highly recommend Bosnia.

Great guide, but order direct from the guide company. - Our guide and driver were awesome. I would have done 5 stars, f the pickup time was what I requested. Do not book through Viator. The ad is wrong about when and where. To their credit, the tour guide confirmed the actual pickup time, which was 30 minutes earlier than what we ordered.

A disappointment. - We had heard so much about Kotor and were looking forward to this tour. However, we wished that we had just taken a bus on our own for the following reasons: - The guide was very nice, but didn’t do a lot except take us to where others would do the tour. Getting to the old town to meet the local guide was very stressful as we couldn’t see where the original guide was going among all the people from cruises. The actual tour wasn’t very long so we were on our own for most of the time we were there. - Once on the bus I was told that I hadn’t paid for part of the trip and owed 10 euros or we would have to take a cab to meet the bus. I still can’t figure out why. - The operator of the boat which took us to the island looked no older than 18 and seemed more interested in chatting up our guide than watching where he was going. There was also no step to help get up on the boat, so we had to haul ourselves up. - The tour was a full 12 hours, partly because of the border crossings which were out of the company’s control, but we couldn’t help but think that we could have done what we wanted to do in a shorter time had we gone on our own. All in all a disappointment - we could also have saved some money if we had gone on our own.

Bring Cash - We did the day trip from Dubrovnik to Kotor, Lady of the Rocks and Perast. The guide was very nice. We weren't advised that cash was required to pay a tax in Kotor or that cash was required on the island, they charge there to use a toilet, no cards accepted. Seems some people that didn't have cash didn't have to pay the Kotor tax.

Could have been a better day trip in Montenegro. - I enjoyed the food, the sights of Kotor Bay and surrounding areas. The trip was marred by having to ride in a large motor coach with 49 other people, difficulty hearing a ground tour guide without "whispers", not enough time to explore the museum of Our Lady of the Rocks, and long border passport processing wait (3 hours) on our return home. I appreciated the pick up and drop off at hotels.
