Highlights
  • Select Dubrovnik - Kotor is surrounded by lofty mountains which peer over its Bay of Kotor, Europe’s southernmost fjord. As the Mediterranean’s only fjord, this bay was added to the list of the twenty five most beautiful bays in July 2000.

You will be picked from your hotel (or pick up point) in Dubrovnik and then enjoy the tour in a new Mercedes, air-conditioned minibus with an English/Spanish speaking guide. Once you arrive at the Croatian-Montenegro border, you will need to be sure you have your passport with you.

Once you cross the border, enjoy a panoramic drive around the Bay of Kotor. Boka Kotorska will fascinate you. It looks as if the mountains have cracked and let the sea in. This is the southernmost fjord in Europe. The bay is all natural. Admire its beautiful small towns as treasuries of history, art, and beauty, that are strung like pearls on its coastline.

Select Dubrovnik deserves a big thumbs up!! - Thanks to the expertise of our guide Luka we enjoyed a very interesting visit to Montenegro. Luka told us a lot of interesting facts about Montenegro, laced with the necessary dose of dry humor. Thank you very much!!

Great day out in Kotor - Wonderful experience visiting Kotor for the day - loved the fact that everything was taken care of, with clear instructions on meeting times & a great local tour guide in Kotor old town Border crossing wasn’t too bad either: 40min at the border both ways Best part of the tour was Kotor old town & lunch at an old Venetian mansion converted to a restaurant (Perast & Lady of the Rock island were alright).

If you have a spare day in Dubrovnik then this is worth doing - If you have a spare day in Dubrovnik then this is a great opportunity to visit another country and experience a different setting Kotor is a smaller niche old town with a few hidden gems, we also took a boat trip to one of the islands and visit the cathedral and then visit Perast The tour guide provided helpful information and advice and the time spent in each location was the right amount of time.

Comprehensive Day Trip - Amazing scenery, comprehensive scheduling and a really great guide. Lots of people (and cruise ships) visit these sites, so it can be very crowded.

a cruise that falls apart - Quite disappointed by this visit to Montenegro, firstly the tourist office indicated a travel agency to me first upon returning to the old town where it seems to me that I paid very dearly for my excursion (80 euros) the person certified to me that I would be back by 6 p.m. because I had organized a sunset trip in a galleon. It was very hot and the air conditioning in the bus worked very poorly. We then waited a good hour at customs and in the evening when we returned we waited another hour and a half. As a result we arrived at 7:15 p.m. and I missed my sea trip.
