• Pelješac - The Peljesac peninsula is renowned for being one of Croatia’s premier wine-producing locales. The tradition of viticulture here can be traced back to the time of the ancient Greeks, some 4,000 years ago.

The unique combination of geographical and climatic conditions has elevated this area to the forefront of viticulture and enology. During this tour, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the region’s most exquisite wines while taking in the breathtaking landscapes of the peninsula and its idyllic vineyards. Embark on a one-hour journey through the distinctive Dingac wine-growing area, where you’ll be treated to stunning vistas. Along the way, your guide will provide a wealth of information about the local customs and way of life in this unparalleled region.

To experience the pinnacle of the nation’s winemaking and to connect with a viticultural heritage that has been woven into the fabric of local society for millennia, we’ll guide you through a visit to three of the area’s most celebrated wine cellars. The excursion also includes a stop in the town of Ston, famed for its traditional salt production, oyster and mussel farming, and its impressive fortifications, which are said to be the second longest continuous wall on the planet, second only to the Great Wall of China.

Excellent way to see and taste wine country. - The tour was excellent. There were over 20 of us, including some kids. Supertours was very accomodating, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to queries. Ivan and his guides were top notch. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Amazing day - This was an absolutely incredible tour. Drazen was our tour guide and he went above and beyond — did a fantastic job explaining some of the history / what we were seeing, made sure we were well taken care of, and even went out of his way to bring us to some really cool spots (ie an oyster farm). The tour was only 3 people (me, my friend, and one other traveler) and lasted well over the promised 7 hours.

This ended up being a private tour... -
This ended up being a private tour and the biggest highlight of our honeymoon for us! We had an amazing driver and guide, Alex, who gave us not just the history of the Peljesac region but many insights into the lives of Croatians in general. We were impressed by his driving and his knowledge of all the off the beaten path roads that I doubt any tour bus would have been able to fit. The wines were all fantastic and reasonably priced as well. The Plavac Mali is a regional grape, and the varietals that come from it are so different and diverse. Definitely off the beaten path if you're looking for an experience like it.

What a great tour. You get to see... -
What a great tour. You get to see the countryside while visiting three wineries. We tasted about 15 wines in total. Our guide was great, very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. There are some other wine tours available for considerably more, we thought this was great value for money.

Its turns out no one else booked... -
Its turns out no one else booked this tour on the day we chose to go so it was pretty much a private tour - Lucky us!.
We had a friendly tour guide and driver.
I don't think this tour included the part in the write-up which says After visiting your final winery, continue on to the tiny village of Trstenik, where youll enjoy a scenic stroll. Gain insight into local life and traditions from your guide, and make several stops during the 1-hour route to capture postcard-perfect vacation snaps but we did stupidly leave our camera bag at the first winery and the owner kindly called our guide so on route back we had to call there to collect very kind Perhaps that's why we missed the above.
Not to worry, what we saw of the wineries, vineyards and Ston was just beautiful. A really nice relaxing day trip. I would definitely recommend it!. I'm not even a wine drinker, but my other half is - he slept all the journey back

Operator Canceled Tour - I booked this tour through TripAdvisor/Viator. I received a confirmation and my credit card was charged. The voucher stated to call the tour operator to confirm time of pickup. I called, and was first told they didn't have the minimum number of reservations for the tour. Then the woman told me she never received the booking from TripAdvisor, so she had no drivers/guides available for our tour. This was the evening before our tour was scheduled. If I hadn't called, we would have been waiting for pickup since the operator never called me to cancel. We have 3 days in Dubrovnik and now have to find something at the last minute. While the woman was nice and apologetic, I cannot recommend this company at all.
