Excellent tour - We highly recommend this tour. Goran was an excellent guide - friendly, helpful and patient. We saw a lot and learnt many things. It was good to experience with a local and be off the beaten tourist track. Planning and communication before the tour was excellent.

Goran really conveyed what it feels like to live in Dubrovnik - We had arranged to meet Goran at 10AM. Our son had a Game of Thrones tour at 10:15 at the old city gate. We’d asked Goran if he could come 15 minutes early and take our son to the city gate. Sure! The logistics were a bit tricky as private cars are not allowed on the wharf. But Goran and I texted until we converged. He drove us all to the Pile Gate and dropped our son off. Goran was very knowledgeable about the history of the area (and he’s a bit of a philosopher). He mentioned that the fortifications around Dubrovnik were designed to protect the city, but the only time the city was ever attacked was in 1991. When we asked for more detail, he showed us what had been a resort area before the attack, as well as the fortress overlooking the city. We came back to town, picked up our son, then went to a great place for lunch. His knowledge of the city and the complicated politics was both comprehensive and interesting. Highly recommended.
