• Peljesac Peninsula - Our journey begins with a drive to the Peljesac Peninsula, approximately an hour from Dubrovnik. We’ll explore three distinct wineries and visit the medieval town of Ston, renowned for having the second longest defensive wall in the world (after the Great Wall of China) and the oldest salt factory of its kind globally! You’ll also have the opportunity to sample high-quality local olive oils and enjoy breathtaking scenery throughout the day. Additionally, there will be wine and food pairings, along with insights into wine tasting techniques and their significance.

The Peljesac peninsula is renowned for producing some of the finest wines in Croatia! A typical day on our tour starts at 9am with a small group and wraps up around 5pm. The day trip consists of visits to 3 wineries, picturesque vineyards, and interactions with the winemakers when possible, along with some free time to explore the city of Ston. Throughout the day, you’ll be immersed in the world of Croatian wines, exploring its history, grape types, wine-making process, various styles, and factors that affect quality and cost. We’ll also delve into sparkling wines and champagne-style wines. There will be a strong emphasis on pairing wines with food, and a tapas-style meal will be included.
