A Journey Through Time: Discovering Dunkirk’s Historical Legacy

Our family has always been drawn to the stories of the past, and Dunkirk’s Operation Dynamo is one of those tales that resonates deeply with history enthusiasts like us. When we heard about the Dunkirk Dynamo Tour, we knew it was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. Emmanuel had taken us to the ship during the tour, sharing its history as a vessel that evacuated 1,673 soldiers in 1940. Now permanently moored in Dunkirk and converted into a restaurant, the ship offered a delightful dining experience with a side of history.
