Do the longer rafting! - My whole family really enjoyed this trip, we just wish we would have picked the longer one. By the time we did the instructions and got dressed (we had to wear wet suits due to water coming off the mountains still) I think we only had an hour on the river. It was my son's first rafting trip, he is 9, and he had to miss a part due to a drop which was not bad at all and I wish he could have stayed in the boat. The tour guides were great, fun, and safety first! I just recommend doing longer tour.

Axel Delivered - With low river flow, this honestly could have been sooo boring but our guide Axel was just the best. He was so skilled and so interesting, poor dude was made to tell us his life story and he delivered! His awesome rafting adventure stories and ability to squeeze every ounce of fun out of each river feature created a truly special experience. Our two sons (7 and 11) were captivated. Thank you, Axel!

Fun! - We had a blast! My kids 10 and 6 years old were all smiles and can’t wait to go back again! Our tour guide, Margaret, made us feel safe and helped make the experience very memorable!

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth! - The Mountain Waters Rafting team is absolutely wonderful! We traveled to Colorado for a blended family vacation. Our kiddos were ages 10-14. We needed an event that all could enjoy and participate in. We decided for water rafting. The MWR team was very responsive and were accommodating to let us make a late reservation. We arrived, the instructions were provided to us, we left promptly on time. They bused us to the drop-in location. We spent over 2 hours on the water. It was magical. Alyssa was an absolute delight as a tour guide. She was professional, friendly, and made the entire experience a joy! We can't speak highly enough of Alyssa... she truly made the experience magical.
If you're looking for something fun to do while in southern Colorado, give our friends at MWF a call - you'll be glad you did!

Awesome Experience - Steve was a wonderful, had a great time ! Great trip for my 5 year old ! Steve made us feel safe during the whole raft. (First raft ever)

Great Family Activity - Took the kids (8 and 10) on the quarter day trip, they had a blast! Long enough to enjoy, but not so long they got restless. We saw deer, a bald eagle and other animals. Our guide Shea was great, kids loved her.

We had a blast - This was our first rafting trip and we had an incredible time. I want to thank our guides – Jack, Keenan and our bus driver Charlie. We had our two younger grandchildren – eight and 11 on the trip. They made it so much fun for them. I highly recommend this group

Great trip down the beautiful river! - My 11 year old son and I had a great experience with your guide Haley 🙋🏼♀️ The river was beautiful and we felt safe. There weren’t many rapids especially since the river is low right now.

A trip Highlight - We had a great time in mid July with Mountain Waters Rafting. The Animas River water was cool and the trip was enjoyable. Our guide, Kina, was enthusiastic and fun to talk to. The trip itself was pretty easy, which was probably a good intro to rafting for our kids. Kina was professional and made sure we had a good time, whether she was giving us instructions or telling us about the area and other river trips.
Scheduling and organizing the trip was near effortless. Base of operations was easy to find and get to. All the equipment seemed well maintained. We had a lot of fun and would definitely book with Mountain Waters again. We may even try for one of their multiday rafting trips in the future. Thanks!
