BEST thing to do in Durango!! - Best activity in Durango. Five star staff, facility, food and entire day. We can't say enough GREAT things about our day with Soarin'!! Don't take the train to Silverton. Stop here and enjoy your day instead of the long boring trip to Silverton. You see all the best things from the train before getting off and enjoying a beautiful day in Tall Timbers zip lining through trees, over the river and having a gourmet lunch on the shores of the Animas River! You don't have to do anything. They handle every aspect of your day. Super safe, with the best equipment. No fear! Have FUN with the entire family!! BEST thing to do in Durango, even though it is out of Durango!!

Second time and still amazing! - This was our second time to book with Soaring Tree Top and they did not disappoint. We love traveling to Durango periodically to get away from the hot temperatures of Texas. My daughter-in-law had never been to Durango or zip lined with Soaring, so this was exciting to take her. By the end of the day with Soaring she was attempting to do some of the tricks that the pros (sky rangers) were attempting. Soaring is a definite "must" if you are visiting Durango, and the price seems minimal with the experience and memories that you will take home with you. The staff is always amazing and makes our visit so enjoyable. Our favorite excursion in Durango!

Soaring Treetops! We love you!! - From start to finish-it was a perfect day. The ride to Soaring Tree Tops by the Silverton Railroad, we were greeted by staff. Every details has already been thought out for a great experience! I love the respect, protection, and care that Soaring gives to all of the Ponderosa trees (No bolts and screws causing damage ) We were three siblings along with a family group of 6. Crew members were Erin, Kevin, Devon, and Haylen- who were great fun and kept us safe. At the middle of the day, a professional chef and her crew served our fabulous meal choices on platforms in the trees, before finishing up the 27 ziplines over the Animas river. Back by train for a full day!! This is our second time, and we plan to go back again. If you love ziplining and being treated like kings and queens, plus the outside adventure, PLEASE don't miss this NUMBER 1 best thing to do.

Absolutely Fabulous! Do It!!! - I absolutely love this place and the people! 2024 was my third time and I'll go again next year if I can. Tall Timber is spectacular in an old growth forest bordering the Animus River. The food for the included lunch is wonderful and they offer a vegetarian meal and will customize for small eaters. The narrow gauge Durango & Silverton railroad is terrific as well in the Tall Timber car.

Our flight through the trees with the soaring company Colorado - We soared through the trees on the zip lines. 27 times. We felt very well taken care of by the staff !! The staff very professionally set us up in our harnesses. Yes it was scary being up so high in the trees however we always felt safe. Always attached to the cables. Then the Gourmet lunch made from scratch served at a beautiful picnic area beneath the tall trees hit the spot!! I highly recommend this activity!!

Fantastic and memorable day! - A once in a lifetime adventure! 27 fantastic zips surrounded by breathtaking scenery, many set up around and across the Animas River. The scenic train ride to this isolated location was a great start. Upon arrival, staff were super friendly, gracious, very well trained and efficient at their work. Lunch and snack provided were beyond delicious. A truly wonderful and memorable experience we highly recommend!

A must do Adventure!!!! - The staff was wonderful, made us feel safe at all times and the experience was thrilling, beautiful, fun and educational of property and surrounding nature environment. Recommend for all to do! Attention to detail was wonderful including snacks, drinks, lunch and comfort.

Top experience or family of 6!!! - WONDERFUL! From the min my family of 6 stepped off the train we were treated as special guests. My kids are 14, 11, 7 and 5 and sometimes it's hard to find something to please them all but this was it. Worth every penny we laughed and flew and had a magical experience. The lovely lunch in the treehouse was such a treat, the staff could not be more attentive --during our snack break when my youngers wanted to climb around a tall strong staffer said don't worry I've got them . They took the time to get to know our names and make as all feel special. We loved it. The min we got off the longest zip (as my kids started to call them) my son said "mom can we please do this again tomorrow". Its expensive but honestly was worth it, if you are on the fence do it you will have a blast and make good memories with your crew!
