Toured the Malpais region near Durango, Mexico. - Excellent Historic informational tour, guided by Neftali (Edgar). Edgar is very knowledgable about this area and his english is very good. He included numerous stops along the way, providing us with additional cultural experiences, enriching our understanding of the wonderful area known as the Malpais. Edgar is very passionate about his work and highly recommended!

A special place with a knowledgeable guide - The malpais (bad country) is a desert oasis formed by cold water springs flowing within volcanic basalt flows. Like those springs, which flow into rivers and cascade over waterfalls, Neftali weaves together a tour of history and nature with (delicious) surprises along the way. Experiences like this are not easy to come by, particularly for a gringo - a true hidden gem. Gracias Netfali y Alejandro! I much appreciate your local insights and kind attention ->Casey

Durango waterfall & canal tour - My favorite part of the tour was visiting the waterfall and hiking down to the bottom where the fall turned into a river, and also feeding the fishes in a nearby pond. Our tour guide Edgar and Juan were very polite and knowledgeable about the history and legends of Durango and it’s neighboring states. I give this tour a 10/10 would do it again and would recommend it to anyone coming out to visit Durango.

Informative and enjoyable. - A very professionally organised tour with a very knowledgeable guide. I learnt a lot during the day about the history of Mexico along with the culture and regional industry. I highly recommend the tour if you are interested in getting a deeper understanding of how the country developed.

We are wery disappointed - Despite of confirmed and fully paid booking we were never picked up in front of the agreed (and also confirmed) hotel. We have been waiting for 90 minutes - nobody came or called. We tried to reach Coyote Tours, they didn't answer the phone. I am not sure if they exist at all! Be careful with them!
