Dubrovnik Croatia

Dubrovnik Cable Car - Spend a leisurely day exploring Dubrovnik. Ride the newly reopened cable car or unwind on the lush island of Lokrum. In the evening, take a private launch for a sunset cruise to the nearby fishing village of Cavtat and enjoy a dinner featuring fresh local seafood.

Dubrovnik Croatia and Montenegro tour

Old Town - The Old Town boasts stunning architecture and is likely the best-preserved medieval town you’ll encounter on your travels. Despite the crowds, it’s truly awe-inspiring and a must-see. From churches to narrow alleyways and everything in between, you’ll be snapping photos non-stop.

Kotor Old City - Stop by Kotor Bay in Montenegro, visit Budva, have lunch in the beautiful Saint Stephan, and then head towards the Albanian border.

Durres day trip

Durres Castle - Starting from the Adriatik Hotel lobby, our walking tour begins at the main square “Liria.” Early in the tour, you’ll see fine examples of the city’s 1930s architecture.

Visit the Roman Amphitheatre from the 2nd century AD, built during Emperor Trajan’s reign. It’s one of the largest amphitheaters in the Balkans. On the way to the Archaeological Museum of Durres, you’ll encounter the Byzantine Wall, an engineering marvel from Emperor Anastasius’s time.

Stroll along the seaside promenade, enjoying the fresh air and views of Albania’s largest bay. Our next stop is the Byzantine Chapel, an early Christian chapel adjacent to the Amphitheatre, featuring a unique polychromatic mosaic of old Christian iconography.

Learn more about the city’s and country’s history at the Durres Archaeological Museum. Then, head to the Venetian Tower, where a flight of stairs leads to the roof, offering some of the best views of this ancient city. Relax and enjoy a coffee break there.

Durres Amphitheatre - Visit the 2nd-century Roman Amphitheatre, built during Emperor Trajan’s reign. It’s one of the largest amphitheaters in the Balkans.

Fatih Mosque - The Fatih Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Fatihut) is a Cultural Monument of Albania. Built in 1502 and named after Ottoman Turkish Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, it was closed by Communist authorities and became a cultural monument in 1973.

Durres Castle - Learn more about the city’s and country’s history at the Castle. Then, head to the Venetian Tower, where a flight of stairs leads to the roof, offering some of the best views of this ancient city. Relax and enjoy a coffee break there.

Royal Villa of Durres - The Royal Villa of Durrës, also known as Zog’s Villa of Durrës, was the summer residence of King Zog in Durrës, Albania. It served as the summer palace for the Albanian Royal family during the Monarchy and remains a symbol of the Monarchy in the city.

Durres Archaeological Museum - The Durrës Archaeological Museum (Albanian: Muzeu Arkeologjik) in Durrës, Albania, established in 1951, is the largest archaeological museum in the country. Located near the beach, the museum is north of the 6th-century Byzantine walls, built after the Visigoth invasion of 481.

Kruja day trip

Kruja Castle - Visit Skanderbeg’s museum, which houses artifacts from Skanderbeg’s era. Nearby, you can visit the Holy Mountain of Sari Salltik and drink holy water from their mountain fountain.

Ethnographic Museum of Kruja - This museum is one of the best ethnographic museums in the country. Set in an original 19th-century Ottoman house that belonged to the affluent Toptani family, it showcases the household’s luxury and self-sufficiency, including their production of food, drink, leather, and weapons.

Tirana day trip

Petrela Castle - Petrelë Castle, now a restaurant, is perched on a rocky hill above the village of the same name.

BunkArt 2 - BunkArt is an underground bunker built for Tirana’s communist-era politicians and military leaders in case of nuclear war.

Et`hem Bey Mosque - The Et’hem Bey Mosque is one of the oldest religious structures in the nation and survived the atheist movement in Albania during the 1960s.

Clock Tower - The Clock Tower of Tirana, built by the Ottoman Turks, originally had a bell from Venice that chimed every hour.

Tanners’ Bridge - Tanners’ Bridge is a newly restored, elegant Ottoman stone footbridge, with colorful Soviet-style housing in the background.

Pazari i Ri - The New Bazaar features contemporary painted buildings while respecting tradition, adding beauty and authenticity to the city.

Blloku - Take a lunch break in Blloku, where you’ll find the best restaurants, trendy bars, pubs, and cafes in Albania.

### Berat and Wine Tasting day trip

Berat Castle - Departing at 8:30 am from Adriatik Hotel, it takes about 2 hours to reach Berat city. Upon arrival, visit Berat Castle, dating back to the 4th century BC. The castle is one of the largest inhabited castles, featuring many Byzantine churches and some mosques from the Ottoman era, which began in 1417.

National Ethnographic Museum Berat - Our walk through the castle leads us to the Onufri Museum, housed in the renovated 18th-century Saint Mary Cathedral. Admire the beautifully carved iconostasis and the icons of renowned Albanian painter Onufri.

Gorica Bridge - Next, visit the old quarters of Mangalem and Gorica, connected by the Gorica Bridge over the Osumi River. Originally wooden, the bridge was rebuilt with stones in 1780 during Ahmet Kurt Pasha’s rule and underwent complete reconstruction between 1920-1930.

The King Mosque - The King Mosque, also known as the Sultan’s Mosque or Sultan Bayezid Mosque, is a Cultural Monument of Albania. Built in the 15th century by Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II.

Cobo Winery - On the way back to the hotel, stop for a wine tasting at the charming Çobo Winery. The tour includes an overview of the winemaking process and detailed explanations of the family’s history and the origins of their wines. (Optional)

Marubi National Museum of Photography - The Marubi Virtual Museum features around forty thousand photographs. Created by Italian photographer Pietro Marubi, the archives are one of the most important photographic collections in the Balkans, with the oldest photos dating back to 1858.

Venice Art Mask Factory - The Venice Art Mask Factory showcases a diverse and exquisite collection of Venetian masks.

St Stephen’s Catholic Cathedral (Shkoder Cathedral) - Visit Shkodra Cathedral, also known as St Stephen’s Catholic Cathedral. Dedicated to Saint Stephen, this Roman Catholic cathedral was built on April 7, 1858, and is the largest in the Balkans.

Ebu Bekr Mosque - Known locally as the Great Mosque, this impressive city centerpiece dates back to the 18th century but was fully renovated and refaced in 1995 with donations from Saudi Arabia.

Shkodra Lake - Lake Shkodra, on the border of Albania and Montenegro, is the largest lake in Southern Europe.

### Prizren day trip

Sinan Pasha Mosque - The Sinan Pasha Mosque, an Ottoman mosque in Prizren, Kosovo, was built in 1615 by Sofi Sinan Pasha, bey of Budim. It overlooks Prizren’s main street and is a dominant feature of the town’s skyline.

Mehmet Pasha’s Turkish bath - Gazi Mehmet Pasha’s Mosque, one of Prizren’s oldest Islamic art monuments, was built in 1561. The mosque has a square base, numerous windows, and a marble main veneration niche and pulpit.

The Halveti’s Tekke - Established in 1605 by Sheikh Osman Baba Tekke in the Saraqhan neighborhood, the Tekke of the Halveti tarikat is Prizren’s main Tekke.

Emin Pasa Camii (Emin Pasha Mosque) - Built in 1831 by Mehmet Emini, this mosque is known for its distinctive drawings.

Marash Park - Located on Prizren’s east side, Marash’s name means “breeze place” in Persian.

Albanian League of Prizren Museum [Muzeu Lidhja Shqiptare e Prizrenit] - The Albanian League of Prizren is now a museum, where the Assembly of Prizren gathered on June 10, 1878, to discuss a program to unite and protect Albania against foreign threats. The museum houses photographs, documents, objects, and clothing from the Assembly’s time.

### Vlora Day trip

Zvernec Monastery - Zvernec Monastery, an old Byzantine monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary, is located on a small island off Vlora’s coast, just 20 minutes from the city center.

Ethnographic Museum, Vlore - The Museum of Independence in Vlorë, housed in the building where Albania’s first government operated, is near the port with a beautiful sea view. Founded in 1936, it was Albania’s first museum before the ‘90s. This national museum offers comprehensive information on the country’s most significant historical events. It was from the balcony of this bright yellow house that Ismail Qemali raised the Albanian flag in 1912.

Muradie Mosque - The Muradie Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Muradies) is a Cultural Monument of Albania in Vlorë. Initially a Byzantine Church, its Byzantine architectural elements are evident in the dome, arched windows, classical triangular forms, and characteristic brickwork.

Independence Monument - The Monument of Independence in Vlorë, Albania, is dedicated to the Albanian Declaration of Independence and was created by Albanian sculptors.

The Castle of Himara - Visit Ali Pasha Castle in Himara, once a crucial military base during the Cold War. Enjoy a coffee break at Kanina Castle and learn about its historical significance as the fortress of Gjergj Arianiti, Prince of Kanina. Rebuilt in the 6th century BC by Emperor Justinian, the castle later became the residence of the Principality of Vlore in the 14th century.

### Koman Lake boat trip

Komani Lake - Departing the hotel at 6:00 AM, we head to Koman Lake, North Albania’s most beautiful spot, arriving around 9:00 AM. From there, we take a boat to Shala River, a trip lasting about 1.5 hours. We’ll stop at Shala River, a stunning location in the middle of Koman Lake. The blue, cold water, rugged cliffs, and green mountains make this place known as Albanian Thailand. Enjoy the spectacular scenery, including a cave where you can swim. Upon arrival, we’ll rest at the guest house. Enjoy 3-4 hours of free time to relax, walk in nature, play volleyball, and have lunch with local organic products. At 3:00 PM, we sail back to Koman Lake and prepare to return to Durres.
