Upon gathering, our excursion on foot will commence at the central square ‘Liria’. Early in our journey, you will encounter prime examples of the city’s 1930’s architecture.

We will then visit an amphitheater from the Roman period, constructed in the 2nd century AD during Emperor Trajan’s reign. This colossal amphitheater is among the largest in the Balkans.

Stroll along the ocean-front walkway, taking in the crisp air and the stunning panorama of Albania’s largest bay. Our following destination is the Byzantine Chapel. An ancient Christian chapel positioned next to the Amphitheatre, its western nook houses a distinctive multi-coloured mosaic portraying antique Christian iconography.

Lastly, proceed towards the Venetian Tower. A set of stairs will guide you to the roof, presenting you with a stunning vista of this ancient city. There, you may unwind with a coffee break.
