- My Son Sanctuary - My Son holly-land was the Hindu center of Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 13th centuries. This site is set in the jungle about 55km from Hoian old town and are the most important remains of the ancient kingdom of Champa and is also a Unesco world heritage site. My son Sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works. My son is considered to be Champa s counterpart to the grand cities of south- east Asia s other indian-influenced civilizations : Angkor Wat( Cambodia), Bagan( Myanmar), Aythaya( ThaiLand) and Borobudur( Java) .This site is a must-see for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations. My Son is now one of six UNESCO World heritage sites in Vietnam.

ITINERARY:
7:00 a.m: Your journey begins from your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang city as you embark on a 50km trip to the My Son Sanctuary in an air-conditioned private vehicle. The My Son Sanctuary was once the capital and spiritual hub of the Champa people whose descendants can still be found in the coastal areas of Vietnam, fully incorporated into the Vietnamese societal fabric. Currently, there is a significant restoration effort underway, with experts still puzzled on how the Champa people managed to construct with baked bricks without the aid of mortar. Our tour guide will provide insightful details about the culture, people, and the Cham Kingdom.
Afterward, we proceed to the Boat Station to catch a boat for the next leg of our journey back to Hoi An. The boat will sail along the Thu Bon River and make a short stop at the Kim Bong Carpentry Village. After our visit, we head back to the Hoi An Dock, from where you will be escorted back to your hotel in either Hoi An or Da Nang city.
