History of My Son:

Nestling in a narrow valley surrounded by mountains, this temple and tower complex is a masterpiece of ancient Cham architecture.

My Son consisted of 70 architectural works ranging from small to large buildings. My Son was the holy land of Cham people from the 4th to 13th century, dedicated mostly to the deities Shiva, Krishma and Vishnu. Today only about 20 temples remain due to destruction of the site during the war.

In the 4th century, in King Bhadravarman’s time, after the construction of TraKieu, the religious centre of Cham kingdom was centred in My Son, and the site was used to welcome royal members, aristocrats and host important religious rituals.

7:30. Collection from your accommodation in Hoi An or Da Nang city

8:30. Arrival at My Son, entering the area with our provided electric vehicles and strolling from the designated parking spot to the sites

8:30 – 10:00. Explore the diverse parts of the temple and tower complex, with our knowledgeable guides offering you a rich understanding of the vast historical significance of this location and its spiritual implications.

Once we depart this World Heritage site, we enjoy a meal at a local eatery. Our journey continues towards Ba Na Hills where we’ll ride a cable car to reach the peak of the Ba na Mountain.

Subsequently, we explore prominent attractions such as the Golden Bridge with Oversized Hands, Flower Garden, Linh Ung Pagoda, French Village. Our guide will narrate the history of Ba Na Hills and ensure you have the ultimate spots for capturing memorable photos.

We take the cable car back down and return you to your Hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An city. Your trip concludes here.
