La Siesta Resort Hoi An - La Siesta Hoi An is amazing from the moment you enter the reception area to the gardens, rooms are all wonderful. The best part is the staff they cannot do enough to make your stay amazing. Mr Mike and Mr Long thank you for making our stay so wonderful, I would also love to thank Lan, Tri Nguyon, Thuong and Ngan you made staying there a pleasure with you wonderful service skills, laughter and friendless we were made welcome. I would also like to say thank you to the cleaning staff as the rooms are spotless. My husband and I are now looking forward to our next trip there. I had read you only need 4 day in Hoi An, well we were there for 15 day and still there was plenty to see and do. Restaurants there are two at La Siesta The Temple and Red Bean also four swimming pools a spa facility it is a total resort. Thank you La Siesta

Beautiful day thanks to our guide Mr. Tom - An adventure-packed day ! My Son is a must-see, it's way more vast than one sees in photos, it's a green Paradise ! Lady Buddha offers a beautiful panorama of the city and Marble Mountain's caves are equally impressive. This experience would not have been the same without our guide Mr. Tom, who took great care of us and answered all of our questions throughout the day.

Thanks Lac! Great tour, amazing sights to see! - Lac was a great tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and did an excellent tour through all of the spots on the tour. We really enjoyed everything he had to share about the sites and he had a great knowledge of the history of the region and explained the significance of the sites we visited in a really interesting way. The tour was great, lots of walking and very rewarding with some really beautiful spots. Thankfully Lac is an expert panorama photo taker so some really beautiful photos too! Would definitely recommend this tour, was a great way to see some highlights from Hoi An without it feeling chaotic or pressured for time. Really amazing!

Very reliable; Excellent guide. - We were picked up on time at our hotel by our driver and our guide Luc. We visited Marble Mountains, My Son and Lady Buddha. Luc was very informative and gave us lots of time to wander and take in all the sights. They take you to My Son first which is good as it got really warm very quickly and there isn't much shade there. The communication we had from the company was excellent - they respond very promptly to questions and they amended our schedule with no issues. There are quite a few steps at the Marble Mountains. You will want to be reasonably able bodied and fit to manage these. There is an elevator up the mountain but still many stairs to negotiate while up there.

Great tour full of sights, facts & fun - What a great day trip, far exceeding our expectations & well worth the cost. We cautiously booked the trip online through Trip Advisor based on the itinerary & the reviews. I was not quite sure about the value for money (it was Aus$114 each) and wondered if I could do the sights myself a lot cheaper. But I was happy once we got going in the mini van with our superb guide River and 7 other passengers. River was a great guide, she was happy, confident, full of facts & local knowledge. Our trip to Monkey Mountain, the big pagoda and then the giant white Buddha statue, was great. Then we went to the Marble Mountain & explored the various caves & temples. The caves were massive, cathedral like, with other smaller ones leading off into areas described as descending into hell and others rising up to heaven. River showed us around and explained much of the history of the place. Afterwards we went for a lovely 3 course lunch at the riverfront Brothers Cafe in Hoi An and then drove out into the countryside to the My Son temple complex. The afternoon tour there was extensive & again River was very informative, ensuring we all had the opportunity to ask questions & understand the different style of structures in the history of Vietnam. It was a great 10 hour day tour, full of sights, facts & fun.

Great day trip out of Hoi An - We were picked up from our hotel promptly by our guide Huan. Took about an hour to get to My Son Sanctuary to admire the ruins. Followed by a nice lunch back in Hoi An by the Thu Bon river before we headed out to Marble Mountain. Marble Mountain was amazing especially to see how they have these huge statues located inside the mountain. Finally the last stop at Monkey Mountain and Linh Ung pagoda was nice with a great view of Danang city.

Excellent day trip out with Snow - We weren’t really sure what to expect from the tour but were blown away by the locations we were taken to. We arrived at My Son sanctuary quite early so at the beginning it was very quiet with hardly anyone else around which was great. Our tour guide Snow was very knowledgable about both the original functions of the different parts of the temples and also the restoration works taking place. We didn’t realise it was a private tour so Snow was able to be very attentive. The included lunch was at Brothers Cafe in Hoi An. It was a wonderful riverside location but unfortunately one of our vegetarian option meals had meat in it, they tried to tell us it was tofu which we were not pleased about. Another dish also had something we suspected was meat. They said it was an accident and I did believe them as it was only a couple of small pieces, but for a place that looks rather expensive (I’ve not paid that much for a coke anywhere in Vietnam before or since!) it’s not really acceptable. The price of the tour was fine so I’d rather they take you somewhere cheaper and have more of the tour fee go to the tour guide. As it was only 2 of us, both vegetarian, there were some amazing veggie restaurants in Hoi An they could have taken us to instead (Minh Hien or Am). After lunch we picked up some other people and went to a marble store then onto Marble Mountain which was completely beyond expectations. The caves and statues were amazing, and some great views from the top. We finished at the lady Buddha statue, another great place with fab views of Da Nang. Overall it was one of the best day tours we’d ever done, and that was mainly because of Snow, she was so friendly and chatty and funny. She knew a lot about everything we saw and was always checking we were okay and making sure we had water (or needed to go to the toilet/happy room!). A lot of other guides know their stuff but just relay facts, but Snow hit the exact right balance between friendly/factual. We’d definitely recommend the tour and if you ask if Snow could be your guide you will have a great day.

Go for My Son, Skip Marble Mtn - Pros: Guide was great, My Son Sanctuary is definitely worth seeing. Lunch was fantastic and exceeded expectations. Cons: Marble Mountain was not what I had expected, and was largely forgettable and a slight (but not complete) tourist trap. I would recommend doing the first half only for My Son.

Worth visiting but lots of steps - I really enjoyed it and I think it’s a great way to have fun I definitely recommend it if you like to climb steps but the views are worth the climb! Young children (9&7) made it too!
