- My Son Sanctuary - If you are an avid lover of ancient history, then Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary is a must-see! Located in the upper area of the Thu Bồn River, near Đà Nẵng City and about 20 km west of Trà Kiệu Citadel, Mỹ Sơn is a cluster of Hindu temples in Duy Phú Commune, Duy Xuyên District. Once a sacred site for the Cham people (known today as Cham), it was used for making sacrifices to the gods. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this renowned architectural complex was dedicated to the god Shiva. Our guide will provide insights into Cham history and their Hindu worship practices. Additionally, you will have the chance to watch a traditional Cham dance performance. Recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999, Mỹ Sơn is a fascinating destination.

It was once a place of worship where the Cham-Pa (known as Cham people, today) would make sacrifices to the Gods.Built between the 4th – 13th century A.D., this famous architectural complex of the Cham was built to worship the god Shiva. My Son was recognised as a world cultural heritage site in 1999 by UNESCO. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel by car for the drive to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, which takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival, the guide will spend approximately 2 hours explaining the techniques used to build the temples and details about Champa culture. After the tour, you will drive back to your hotel, which takes about 1 hour. The tour ends upon your return.

Best way to experience My Son - We had a wonderful time visiting My Son with Mr Nhuoc as our tour guide. The early morning tour worked great for us: we were picked up at 6am directly from our hotel in Hoi An, and were able to wander around My Son before the heat -- and also with very few other visitors at the same time as us. Mr Nhuoc was also a fantastic tour guide, walking us through not only the history of My Son, but also sharing with us insights into Vietnamese culture and everyday life along the way.

Don’t miss this amazing tour!! - We had an incredible time on this tour with our wonderful guide Truong! It was amazing. He and the driver were both very kind and thoughtful and Truong taught us a lot about the history of the area and My Son, as well as about Vietnamese culture and tradition. We stopped at a beautiful coffee shop as well. The early tour is definitely the way to go! Do not miss this tour when coming to Hoi An, it’s beautiful to get out the town and see the mountains and the jungle, in addition to My Son. Thank you to Truong and the tour operator who were very helpful in supporting an additional stop we wanted to do in the area. We had a very beautiful time on this tour. :) thank you Truong!

My Son Sanctuary morning tour - This was a really incredible morning seeing the temple sites at My Son Sanctuary. Our guide Tai was very knowledgeable and I learnt a lot about the different sites of worship and the rituals that took place. You miss the crowds and the heat by going early so I definitely recommend this tour.

An incredible, memorable experience - An incredible tour that takes place early in the morning when the weather’s cooler and there’s fewer tourists around - it was very intimate and peaceful. Our guide, Tai, was an incredible help - guiding us around and explaining all of the history of My Son with exceptional detail and patience. He was also exceptionally accommodating with adapting to our last-minute changes to our travel plans. Highly recommend this tour!

Great experience, interesting history, professional guide - Very great guide, informative, caring and good English. My son temple visit is a must, great history, beautiful views, nature. Advice to go with the private guide in this way you can get answers to any questions regarding Vietmamese history.

Such a good tour! - Such a good tour to do if you are in Hoi An. Our guide (I believe his name was Kevin, but I am not sure) shared a lot of information at the ruins, but also a lot of information about Vietnam on the way there and back. We definitely enjoyed it and appreciated the cold towels the driver had prepared for us as we went on the hottest day of the month.

Enthusiastic guide who takes your wishes into account - Mr. Tai is a very enthusiastic and fun guide. He really takes your wishes into account. We went to My Son and in the afternoon to Marble Mountain and Monkey Mountain.
