• My Son Sanctuary - We travel about 50km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremonies of kings of the Champa civilization and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area. We also spend time to visit Tra Kieu Church on the way back to Marble Mountain

We journey approximately 50km from Hoi An to the sanctuary of My Son. This location is composed of numerous Champa temples, nestled within a valley about two kilometers in width, and flanked by two mountain chains. It once served as a ceremonial ground for the monarchs of the Champa civilization and also functioned as a graveyard for Champa nobility and heroes of the nation. The My Son temple collection is among the primary Hindu temple arrays in South East Asia and is the top heritage site of its kind in Vietnam. Despite the damage over the centuries, many grand old ruins of temples are still visible in this region. Our itinerary also includes a visit to Tra Kieu Church during our return to the Marble Mountain.
