My Son was the holy land of Cham people from the 4th to 13th century, dedicated mostly to the deities Shiva, Krishma and Vishnu. Today only about 20 temples remain due to destruction of the site during the war.\n\nIn the 4th century, in King Bhadravarman’s time, after the construction of TraKieu, the religious centre of Cham kingdom was centred in My Son, and the site was used to welcome royal members, aristocrats and host important religious rituals.\n\nContinually developing over nearly nine centuries, My Son witnessed both the glorious and prosperous period of the Champa Kingdom as well as the Kingdom’s decline.Despite the fall of the Champa Kingdom,the Cham culture continues to survive.

ITINERARY:
5:10. We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An
6:00. Arrive at My Son just as the gates open for visitors, entering the site with the provided electric vehicles and a brief walk from the drop-off area to the site itself
6:15 – 8:15. Explore the temple and tower complex’s various sections, enriching your knowledge with our informed guides detailing the site’s broad history and religious significance. Allow your guide to introduce you to the ideal photo spots & return to vehicle for a 40 minute drive to Cau lau Harbour to board the boat.

Onboard for roughly 50 minutes, Pause to explore Kim Bong carpentry Village. Witness the creation of wooden boats, the craft of wood carving, and the process of rice wine production. Take turns to test your proficiency in these unique bygone crafts.
Travel back to Hoi An city and the driver will drop you off at your hotel. Thus concludes your journey.
