We did this tour from Hoi An in late... -
We did this tour from Hoi An in late January of 2017 and had a very good trip.
The area lies in a lovely lush green valley with a small brook running though it at a bit higher elevation than the coast, about 150 meters.
The weather was cool and there were not too many other people in the area the day we visited.
Interesting to see Hindu Temples from such an early period, 4th to 13th centuries.
Sadly most the the heads of the carvings on the walls have been removed to museums in other countries!
Unfortunately, there has been a definite lack of renovation and/or maintenance over the years.
However, well worth the time and money to visit this site!
The follow on tour of Hoi An was quite enjoyable, seeing several of the old Museums, Temples and meeting places as well as the Japanese Bridge.
Very Historical in presentation, as Vy, our young female tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and spoke great English!
It was a very good overview of what Hoi An has to offer, as we had an additional 5 days there to further explore the Old Town area......
