*At 1 am, a skilled guide will accompany you to the summit of the Kawah Ijen volcano. The ascent takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with one hour being quite challenging. Following this, you will descend into the volcano’s crater to witness the natural wonder of blue flames and experience the sunrise over the world’s largest acid lake—an unforgettable experience. Equipped with a respirator to shield you from sulfuric vapors, you will find yourself at the heart of the crater, offering a truly unique sensation!
In the crater, which also serves as a “Sulfur mine,” you will observe the remarkable bravery of the workers (miners and carriers) who earn their livelihood by extracting sulfur, which is used in pharmacology and cosmetology.
