Very nice and super organized tour! - We (two adults and a 17-year-old boy) felt very well looked after all around. The tour itself is super organized and we didn't miss anything. The pickup was on time and the ride in the minibus was comfortable and safe. The driver already gave us plenty of information and background about our tour on the way but also more generally about Indonesia and Lombok in very good English. He also gave us a top Recommendation for local food near our accommodation at the foot of Rinjani. Drinks and breakfast were then provided directly in the property's garden. During the tour itself, we could fully rely on our guide (Naswan). He guided us safely through the sometimes challenging terrain and always knew the best and safest way – if there were alternative routes. He took care of everyone in our group so no one was left behind. Naswan is from the area and has known all the local people for years. As a result, it has very good connections. He also has the experience of over 200 Rinjani ascents and speaks excellent English. The two porters (carriers) of our group were also very impressive. They have not only dragged all our equipment consisting of tent, mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, table, chairs, toilet tent, but also quantities of food and drinks up the mountain and cooked us three times a day very good and abundant food fresh. There was delicious chicken, rice, noodles as well as lots of fruit and vegetables and for breakfast even pancakes. We always had plenty of water and more tea than we could drink. Our meals were sometimes served so nicely in special places away from the tourist flow that passersby thought we had booked a VIP tour 😉. The views on the crater rim at sunset and at the top of the mountain at sunrise were spectacular. From our Rinjani tour we took many great memories, beautiful photos and a fat sore muscles.

Great trek, and great experience - Great organization, Remote Reservation, answers to all our questions and trek as announced. The Guide and the two porters were very attentive with us. The trek was great and the organization was very important. We had a great time!

Great hike - We completed the 3-day, 2-night hike to the summit and lake. The summit challenge was tough, and descending to the lake with tired legs was also difficult. The hike was challenging, but it was incredibly satisfying to finish it. This was made possible only with the excellent guide and porters from EM Adventure.

Organization was great, I... - Organization was great, I recommend Mr. Em and his team for this route. Don't bring too much clothes to the peak. Be prepared with some medicine / alternative food, if not used to local one.

Great trip up to Mount Rinjani - Wonderful organization from pick up to overnight stay in a wonderful accommodation and with a very hospitable family. Great hike up the mountain with the excellent guide Pam and very good food on the whole trip. The views and the tough hike are definitely worth it. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Incredible trek ! - We loved our two-day, one-night trek! We found that comfort was really there between meals, tent, presence of our guide…). We highly recommend this agency of course !!

Everything was provided for - Was a great experience, Em provided all of the equipment necessary for the trek, the guide was also very knowledgable and new English well. However don't underestimate the trek, it's quite a hike :)

Best Organizer on Rinjani! Explore More on “Timbanuh”with EmAdventure! - I’ve been coming to climb Gunung Rinjani several times before and always choose this organizer. Em is not just a guide, he becomes a good friend. And you need to have good partners to go beyond the normal route. This time we explore more in the off beaten path of the South side of Rinjani, Timbanuh route where they limit only 60 people per day. This route is simply raw. It was only our team on this route and no one else. Jungle rain forest kind of adventure where you might slip on any step! Plus! It was raining whole day but well, it’s a part of good adventure !! The food was exceptional as always, Em makes sure of it. The porters and guides were friendly, they had great service mind and took care of me very well. I also did 2D1N program to the summit for documentary. Happy experiences indeed! I would definitely come back with Em to explore other routes. Highly recommended!

2 happy days on Rinjani - I had an incredible two days on Mount Rinjani. Opting for the two-day, one-night summit climb, I owe a huge thanks to the EM Adventure team! I reached out to them last minute, just a day before the climb. Despite the short notice, they efficiently arranged my permit and organized transfers from Gili Island to the start of the trail and to the airport after the climb. The guide and porter did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated the delicious meals they cooked for me. We ended up becoming friends! Thank you so much for the unforgettable experience!

Better find the other ones! - Yes. They can communicate in English. However, the understanding is another story. They twisted the words accusing me saying something I really didn't. So, ended up didn’t climb up since there was a lot misunderstanding before the start. How could I endure the whole hiking trip with them? Kindly consider wisely with this operator. Hope you have a better experience.
