Highlights
- Seaford Beach - Our accredited tour guide will meet you at Seaford Beach and we will have 15 minutes or so to grab a light refreshment and to take in the scenery before we begin our walk
- Seven Sisters Country Park - We will walk from Seaford Head to Cuckmere Haven with a stop at Hope Gap (tides permitting we will walk down to the beach). This…

- Seven Sisters Country Park - We will walk from Seaford Head to Cuckmere Haven with a stop at Hope Gap (tides permitting we will walk down to the beach). This offers splendid views of The Seven Sisters white cliffs.
- Cuckmere Haven - We will walk along the beautiful river Cuckmere to the Seven Sisters Visitors Centre.
- Saltmarsh Farmhouse & Cafe - We will stop for 45 minutes for drinks and lunch (not included) at the Saltmarsh Farmhouse Cafe. Walkers will also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and to learn about the surrounding areas at the centre.
A short walk from the Visitors Centre reveals superb views of the meandering Cuckmere River. We will take a short (but steep) walk to Friston Forest and then decend back to Cuckmere Haven on the South Downs Way.
- Chyngton farm - We will return to Seaford Bay via Chyngton Farm, passing huge fields of sheep and cattle. This offers our 3rd glorious view of the Seven Sisters. There is an opportunity to visit Brewsters Coffee Co. at Seaford Head if walkers wish to stop.
Our decent passes us through Seaford Head Golf Club (a favourite spot for our Guide, Matt!) Once we arrive back at the Seafront, Matt will be more than happy to take you to one of his favourite Public Houses and share a pint of one of many fantastic local ales.

Don’t miss this opportunity! - We had such a wonderful day with Matt! Getting a tour of beautiful Seaford and the Seven Sisters was an unforgettable experience. Matt is kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful and communicative! Do yourself a favor and book a Secret Sussex Tour with Matt, you will not regret it!

Beautiful land and seascapes. - Took this trip at the beginning of October on my own.
I contacted the guide beforehand re meeting point specifics etc and got a helpful and timely response.
The views on this trip were fantastic-of course the better the weather the better the views.
Matt was a very considerate guide-ie checking in with the party re aspects of the walk, difficulty of some parts of the terrain etc. This IS a proper walk ie need the correct shoes and clothing , good level of fitness etc.
A stop for lunch in a lovely cafe and a brief visit to a lovely gift sjhop added to the enjoyment.
Matt knows a lot about local history which added to the interest of the trip and was very happy to answer questions and make other recommendations.
I would be very happy to go on another walking trip organised by Matt. He's a great guide-you are in safe hands.
For someone who likes nature and a good walk I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Excellent guided Seven Sisters Walk and more - My husband and I booked this walk to see the beautiful scenery along the English Channel and the Seven Sisters White Cliffs and it was worth every step. You will only get this unique view with Matt as your guide. He is very personable and easy to visit with. We walked along the the beach at Seaford and up along the cliffs of Seven Sisters. The views were amazing. We also took some lovely walking paths leading us through the hilly forest area nearby with trees all around. Just a beautiful walk. Lots of people hike and walk and bike here. This is geared towards those who are fairly fit and ours was an 8 hour hike, aprx 40k steps for the day. There are places in which you can take a break or even shorten the steps of you need. Thank you, Matt, for showing so much of the area to us. It was a walk we will never forget! Excellent!

Absolutely gorgeous walk with wonderful guide - This was a fascinating walk with absolutely spectacular views. My wife and I did it last week. Our guide was Matt. His knowledge of the area - its history, the flora and fauna and of course where to get the best views was fantastic. Also, we needed to slightly adjust the route (due to our reasons) and Matt made those changes seamlessly. This was a wonderful way to see the area and take in its majestic beauty. Highly, highly recommended.

Fabulous Guide for Seeing Sussex Countryside - Matt Woods is amazing! We walked on paths we would have never found and got to enjoy the beauty and quiet of the countryside—often looking from afar at groups of tourists at less desirable and crowded viewpoints. He’s knows all the “secret” paths—and stopping points for lunch and snacks! Great tips for dinner too. Liked him so much we got a second day!

Interesting and fun!!! - Hi. We did this walk a few weeks ago. It was thoroghly enjoyable. Matt was very knowledgeable about the area and made it fun as well. I didn't realise how much there is to experience in this area and how interesting it is. I will definitely do it again and take my teenage daughter with.
