Additional Information

Our unparalleled boat journey offers an extraordinary trip as it guides you through history along the shoreline. We share tales of ancient Sussex smugglers, a tradition tracing back over two centuries, which is heightened by the fact that your tour guide is a descendant of the most notorious smuggler in history. The tour gives you a chance to see caves, beaches, and cliffs that were once smuggling hotspots, as well as significant historical sites that played key roles during the war and in the Battle of Britain. Get the chance to dive in the mesmerizing Sussex sea and admire the spectacular landscape and awe-inspiring cliffs while gaining insight into their geological history. Rather than a high-octane thrill ride, our impressive boat tour stands out for its unique platform to discover landmarks via the sea, enchanting all on board. We maintain a relaxed approach, cruising leisurely while listening to music. We pause along the way to discuss the areas, enjoy a swim and appreciate the day. Do remember, both young and adult ‘smugglers’ should bring along warm clothes and sunscreen.

Super Fun! - My wife and I took the boat trip to see the Seven Sisters. It was glorious. We got several great views approaching the cliffs and got to see them in all their majesty. The views were stunning. We also learned about Seaford history and we saw a seal. Our captain was Sarah. She was wonderful - quite knowledgeable about Seaford. The trip was about 90 minutes which was the perfect amount of time. Highly recommended.

Really Decent & Professional Company - I was away on holiday in Canterbury and wanted to organise a special day out for our last day. So, on a last minute whim, I looked on Tripadvisor for things to do “near me” and it came up with this suggestion of a boat trip in a RIB. It talked about the White Cliffs of Dover and so I thought it would be nice & close as we were around thirty mins from Dover. So, I went ahead and booked it and paid £200 for 5 of us. It wasn’t until I Googled the start location that I realised it was actually just over a 2hour drive from us! I really didn’t want to spend that amount of time driving and so I emailed the company to ask for a refund. I have to say I was worried that they would refuse as they clearly stated they required more than 24hrs for cancellation. However, I was very relieved that I got a prompt response saying they would sort the refund asap and a day or two later the money was back in my bank account. I have to say it is refreshing to find a company that will do the decent thing, even when it means they will lose out on money. I definitely will at some point book this trip up, as it looks absolutely ace, I’ll just make sure we do it when we’re staying somewhere nearer 😆 Thank you very much for your prompt and hassle free service, it was very much appreciated 😃👍🏻

What a wholesome experience! - I had a great experience on the Seven Sisters Boat trip with my boyfriend. It was my first time at seven sisters and Sarah was phenomenal in explaining the history as we went along, we stopped for some pictures, to see some seals and she was a really good host that had great interpersonal skills and allowed us to have a great time overall. One of my best adventurous experiences so far. Keep up the good work Sarah, we had a fab time :). I would recommend and do it again , so perhaps we’ll see you next year.

Fantastic boat trip to see Seven Sisters from the Sea - It’s really a must. Everything was fantastic even the weather. Fantastic boat, fantastic views and the most important fantastic skipper - Captain Sarah - all in one: the skipper, a tour guide, a photographer, very friendly person. Even if you forgot your camera she was happy to use her own. I really recommend this adventure, it’s worth the money.

An awesome boat trip - Wow. What an amazing experience we had yesterday. The trip was fantastic and the staff were awesome. As a newbie on a boat I was a little nervous but very excited; well I need not have worried. The captain Sarah & the lovely Steve put your mind at rest before you were even on board. They were friendly, funny and informative. The weather was perfect, the only disappointment was that the local seal didn't pop his head up to say hi. This was a tick off of my bucket list, next thing is to try jet skiing. Highly recommend Maverick boat adventures.
