Absolutely amazing - Absolutely fantastic Wilderness Lunch tour. Our driver was on time for our pick ups and very friendly on the journey. The actual visit at the farm was amazing. We got to feed the reindeer in their field followed by a sleigh ride into the beautiful woods. Lunch was soup, biscuits and a hot berry juice. The place was amazing. The highlight of our Lapland holiday. We also arranged 2 other tours with this company and their drivers are always friendly and punctual. Highly recommend these.

Relaxed tour with great nature experience - The tour was a beautiful nature experience with great insights into reindeer farming in Finland. After a short guided tour of the farm, where we were answered all questions about reindeer, there was a nearly one-hour sleigh ride through deep snowy forests, which gave us an intense nature experience.

Magical way to spend Christmas Eve - We booked this excursion via call of the wilderness months before we visited Finland over Christmas.
We had not heard of this company before but we read reviews and looked at their social media pages and saw they had some amazing reviews and even more amazing excursions to offer.
They are also well priced in comparison to UK travel companies who offer similar experiences.
So we booked the reindeer safari with farm visit and then added meeting Santa himself after the reindeer excursion in a hut in the forest.
Yes it was cold but it’s December in Finland so wrap up and enjoy.
What a magical way to spend Christmas Eve. My 5 year old son absolutely loved it as did we.
The guide picked us up from our hotel which we did pay extra for but it was great value.
They arrived before the estimated time and were very friendly.
The van was warm, in good condition and clean.
We were taken to a farm and met a lot of reindeer. We got to feed them which was incredible and learn about them which was very interesting.
We even got to see some playing in the field which I got on video.
The guides were amazing and so friendly.
We then went on the safari ride through the snowy forest which was so peaceful and something off a Christmas card.
You do get blankets to keep warm which you do need.
The guides even offer to take photos of you in the sleigh before hand which is a lovely touch. And you get to take some afterwards near the reindeer and sleigh.
The guides then came and got us to go onto meeting Santa in his hut.
Our son was completely in shock meeting Santa on Christmas Eve as it was a lovely surprise. There is an option to do the combination of the two excursions on the company website or each individually.
Santa himself was amazing too. Very realistic and easy to understand. He explained how he was ready to deliver presents and my son sat there listening to every word before we got photos taken.
Thanks again call of the wilderness, you delivered another incredible experience and your guides were amazing.

Great experience - The experience was great from start to finish. Our family group stayed in Luosto between 17th-20th December, three adults & one child. We looked to book elsewhere as the excursions seemed expensive with our travel company (TUI). Booking independently and directly with Kairankutsu which saved us around £100 in total for our group. Advertised as 2 hours, we were picked up 20 mins before and dropped back afterwards so in total including travel it was getting on for 3 hours. We didn’t feel rushed at any point.
It was a very exclusive trip with just 7 of us in total (a family of four from a neighbouring hotel). We were picked up on time by our tour guide in a small minibus. The tour guide spoke English and was with us from start to finish.
It was relaxed and informative, starting with the reindeer farm, only three children in total in our group so plenty of opportunity to feed the reindeer. This lasted an hour as we walked around the reindeer ranch, stopping to listen to the tour guide as various points.
Next we met with other groups and walked to the reindeer sleigh together. There were three large groups in total each with three separate reindeer sleighs. It was a full hour through the forest and was incredible, truly idilic. When we finished there was time to warm up by the fire pit and we toasted marshmallows that we had brought with us.
I can not recommend Kairankutsu enough.

Can’t recommend Kairankutsu Oy enough - From start to finish, our trip with Kairankutsu Oy was fantastic. Booking was easy and my (many) questions were answered immediately. Leo arrived early to pick us up which we were absolutely ready for and explained what was going to happen during the excursion so we knew what to expect.
The reindeer farm was unbelievable, seeing and feeding the animals was like nothing else. The ride itself was magical and definitely an experience we won’t forget.

Do it! - Magical trip. Staff from point of collection to safari were both knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The trail was stunning. We were in a small group so didn’t get lost at the back of the crowd and could hear everything said. Trail was beautiful.
Only thing I would suggest is to book before 1pm if you want good photos as it starts to get dark quick, and especially if your are bringing children under 8 to wrap them up extra warm as you are sat still for an hour and it gets bitterly cold by the end of it.
I admit it was expensive but it was an experience of a life time, their working season is short so I can understand where the costs are formed. An experience I shall never forget!
Thank you!

Unique - It was a wonderful experience, riding in a sleigh through the snow-covered forest, feeding the reindeer beforehand, the animals made a good impression and the people were very friendly
