The afternoon is reserved for relaxation and enjoyment of the river or jungle surroundings. A delightful local dinner will be served, followed by a guided night walk through the jungle to explore the nocturnal insects and rainforest life.
Full Day Rainforest Adventure
Napo Province - This full-day tour begins early, around 5 am, depending on the weather, with a canoe trip to a parrot’s clay lick. A short walk will lead to one of the area’s largest and oldest trees. Guests will visit a local Amazon rescue center to learn about the animals and their rehabilitation stories. After enjoying a local lunch in the cabana, participants will learn to prepare the traditional Kichwa beverage, Chicha de yuca. As the sun sets, a walk to observe the area’s wildlife will be followed by dinner and a restful night.
Final Day
Awana Lodge and Tours - On the final morning, guests will enjoy breakfast and then have the opportunity to learn the art of making chocolate from cherished cacao.
