Cotopaxi Volcano - Wonderful experience up Cotopaxi volcano. I would like to thank Irene for being the best tour guide, full of energy and very knowledge about her country, highly recommended. The hike was challenging but worth it at the top for a cup of cocoa. Potato soup was tasty at the food diner, a nice treat after a day of hard work.

Great guides Adrian and Johanna, excellent adventure!!! - When booked this tour in Feb of 2024 with our guide Adrian and driver Patrick. Adrian was an extremely informed and engaging guide. He is a enthusiastic interpreter of the natural world and a knowledgeable tour guide. Adrian is a wonderful representative of the Ecuadorian people, he took great pity in my poor friend as he struggled to climb Cotopaxi. Patrick is an extremely skilled driver, not once were we stuck in the mud on our treacherous way to the volcano.
For our second day we visited Quilatoa and the surrounding community. Our guide was Johanna who exceptionally charming and friendly. She was a wonderful guide and taught us a lot about Ecuadorian culture and language. Everyone we meet along the way made us love the county and want to stay forever.

Quilatoa Tour with Irene - This is an absolutely amazing tour, partially because of the great Quilatoa lagoon and hike, but also because of our outstanding tour guide, Irene, who is extremely knowledgeable and fills the time with very satisfying facts about food, indigenous practices, indigenous language, etc. The visit to the indigenous household was mind alteringly beautiful and life affirming. What an exceptional day! The hike is very steep to Quilatoa, on the way back, but there’s a horse option if you are not up for it.

Very active, fun experience - Just a really fun tour. Adriene our Day 1 tour guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and humorous; so was our Day 2 tour guide Dani. The Cotopaxi hike was challenging, be sure to acclimate to altitude in Quito at least two days first, bring appropriate hiking gear and water. Quilotoa was beautiful and challenging as well. After a strenuous week, I elected to ride a mule on the way up. Highly recommended.

Nice and easy tour to experience the Andes from Quito - It is a great 2 day tour to visit both the Cotopaxi mountain and Quilotoa lagoon. As other reviews mentioned, it was two separate tours each day, but we did get the benefit of having to go back to Quito after Day 1. The hotel the tour dropped us at is a very nice surprise, with beautiful garden and nice Mountain View. Special shout out to tour guide Camila who took us to Cotopaxi. The organizer Grace was amazing as well, and helped us change your dates when our plans changed a couple of weeks prior to arriving. The natural beautiful of this tour is breathtaking. I highly recommend the tour if you have two days to spend to enjoy the Andes near Quito.

Great 2-day getaway from Quito! - This was the perfect way to see Cotopaxi and quilotoa in one weekend. I had two different guides, both of whom were great. We went to all the must see places and I had the chance to meet some other awesome travelers as well.

Fun but Disjointed Tour - I did the 2 day 1 night tour of Cotopaxi and Quilotoa. The pros: it was very easy and convenient. Everything was arranged for us. The lodge we stayed in was beautiful. The guides were helpful and nice and informative. The cons: it felt disjointed because it wasn't really a 2 day tour. It was basically 2 separate 1 day tours and they dropped us at a lodge in between. Different tour guides and different people and different vehicle etc. each day. Also not all the tour guides spoke very good english.

Decent experience - 1st Day activity included Cotopaxi Volcano base camp hike and it was good and challenging with day 1 guide being also informative.
Overnight Hacienda after Day 1 activity was not a good one.
2nd day activity included Quiloatoa Lake hike and it was not as good as 1st day and the guide was kinda of okay.
