The perfect 2 days outside of Quito - This was a perfect 2day-1 night! Pedro is exactly the type of guide I like, knowledgeable, informative, not pushy on sales, and did exactly the tour I wanted. One day focused on Cotopaxi and then next on Quilotoa. The hotel was old with a lot of history and we loved the chimney in our room. I 100% recommend this tour and guide!

Excellent tour, ask for Irene and Jimmy - Excellent tour, ask for Irene and Jimmy.
The tour started with a seamless hotel pickup at 7:00 am. the first stop along the way was at Cotopaxi. We received a brief orientation at the information post where we also stopped for a hot cup of tea. Continuing on, we reached the viewing area where we were given the opportunity to take some pictures. We were given the choice of going a bit higher or walking around the lagoon and we opted for the lagoon walk. It was a bit cloudy but we still managed to get a few decent pictures of Cotopaxi. From Cotopaxi was a long drive to Quilotoa but the scenery was very interesting to look at. The views of Quilotoa were spectacular. We opted not to go down to the lake as the views from the top were awesome and it was nice to relax and take in the views. The hike to the bottom and back to the top would have probably added another couple hours had we done it. Lunch at Quilotoa was also really good. One of us opted for the set menu option and the other got the potato soup. Both were delicious. We were also given the opportunity to visit a few souvenir shops. The tour ended up taking just over 10 hours to get us back to our hotel.
Irene was a fabulous guide. She was very easy to understand and provided plenty of very informative information both during the drives and at each of the stops. Jimmy was a very good driver. We felt very safe for the entire journey and he did a very good job on making the windy roads an enjoyable experience.
Overall, it was an excellent trip and a great way to see two of Ecuador's top sites in a single day. If you're pressed for time, this is an excellent option.

Great experience visiting Quito and surroundings, it is a unique experience - Quito is very worth it for the surroundings that you can visit and in the city the best thing that you should go to is the Quito cable car and the visit to the Basilica going up to the towers. Both are great and unique experiences. Having visited Mindo, Quilotoa and Baños (go to the Pailon del Diablo waterfall and look for the tree house), made our trip memorable

Ask for Pedro :) - I had such an amazing time with Pedro. I went by myself and was able to get a private tour due to slow season which was impeccable. Pedro was everything: he was the guide, he was the driver, lol he was my bag holder. he was my photographer, he was my walking stick, he was the shield to the wind. He told me where to take amazing pictures

Great experience visiting both Cotopaxi and Quilotoa - I had a great experience, Pedro was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. We drove up to the end of the road on Cotopaxi (approximately 15,000 feet elevation) which was amazing. Had a great hike down to Laguna Quilotoa (and back up again). Would definitely recommend!

Pedro is the best - Pedro was an exceptional guide during my first visit to the volcanoes in Quito. His knowledge and passion for the area were evident as he expertly navigated us through Cotopaxi and Quilotoa crater. Pedro's insightful explanations about the geological formations and local history enhanced the experience, making it both educational and awe-inspiring. He ensured our safety while providing ample opportunities to appreciate the breathtaking views. Pedro's friendly demeanor and willingness to answer questions made the trip truly memorable. I highly recommend Pedro as a guide for anyone seeking a remarkable adventure in Quito's volcanic wonders.

Beautiful and exotic scenery with interesting indigenous farms/villages - excellent tour. Pedro is friendly, knowledgeable, and fluent in English. Comfortable SUV. At Cotopaxi we drove to 15,300 feet. Beautiful. Quilotoa is magnificent to see, and the village around it and indigenous town along the way are interesting. Highly recommended.
